Yo guys, just a little update about the problem I had with storage limit on Streamable.
Basically they became too greedy.💀
As you guys know, I have been using their service for 2 years and I never ran out of uploading limit. I was using their Pro Plan which was 13$ per month for 2TB of bandwidth (which could be exceeded).
Now Pro Plan is 20$ and for 1TB only!
They sent me the custom offer as you can see in the picture to pay 45$ per month for 3TB, but I would probably need 4TB which would be 60$...

TL;DR - I would have to change my plan from 13$ to 60$ which is insane. I will continue uploading directly on Patreon and continue paying 13$ so that at least all of my videos stay up on Streamable.

Is this gonna be OK with copyright and stuff?

I can only hope so my man. There's never guaranteed way of doing these reactions, but I noticed some other creators are posting on Patreon directly as well after those copyright attacks that happened earlier in the year. There's always an option with timer based reactions, but I know 90% of people would not like that because syncing your own video with reaction can be annoying especially if someone pauses reactions sometimes like myself. One thing is for sure, there will always be a way to do it, so I'm not worried that much! :D

I've seen some reactors post theres to YouTube but on a restricted playlist so only people with the link can watch it. I'm not sure if you've thought about trying that but maybe that could work.

The problem is YouTube's automatic copyright detection system. Restricted videos would protect me from copyright strikes, that's true, but the content ID system could block the video and make it unavailable for watching in some or all countries. It depends on the show pretty much, but most of them would get blocked I'm pretty sure. It happens if you don't cut out at least 5 seconds of video every 30 seconds. Google Drive doesn't have that automatic system so that's how I'm sharing my One Piece reactions to YouTube, but Google Drive has limited memory space capacity as well unfortunately.

I see, well hopefully uploading here will be okay for a while. It seems like they have relaxed on the reaction content compared to a few months ago!

Steve.

Wow that is a horrific price increase

Yeah, I was really disappointed because I really like how clean their site is and I never had problems with videos, they have really good player.
