We started up work on the visual novel adaptation in an April, and have since then adopted the rotation system with a different character focus each month (Kelly/Misc/Emily/Stephanie), so making a progress report at the completion of each four-month cycle seems like a good idea. Will keep doing annual / anniversary posts to show some select things off to the other tier of patrons, but once a year progress reports pass over A LOT of interesting work.

Art assets come in at a constant dripfeed (we've reached an equilibrium as to what art we can afford / artist's comfortable output) but I don't make new Patreon posts about assets unless I have to, as most progress on its own is extremely minor or incremental. I've just been updating the asset showcase pages that somewhat show you how the game is shaping up area by area, and they're getting more and more impressive.

As you can probably tell, the assets have extended quite a bit further into the Saturday story stuff, and a lot of the background illustration focus this time was creating sub-areas of the convention center so that it doesn't feel small or like there isn't much to explore there. Work on background crowds has slowed down quite a bit because we want YeMcBear spending most of her time on main character illustrations. However, we have also started having her squeeze in "perk icon" chibis whenever there's a handful of days between her finishing all the orders for one month and before the next month starts, as they're cute as hell and she's able to produce them very quickly.

What's NOT shown here is Tennessee's work, in the past four months she has submitted six theme tracks, and they are some of her best. The Oppressed, Interstellar, Pizza Party, Primal, Brian's Theme, and Classi Cafe can all be listened to at the top of the various asset showcase pages that start here.

In regards to what's coming up next—we're heading right back into a Kelly month for August! In the plans are an illustration of Brian pulling up Kelly from the ground (Friday night right before they all go to the hotel), Kelly dressing/undressing the Calamity Queen dress (Sat morning hotel room with Steph as well as Sat late afternoon with Sarah) and then a Sarah design set similar to our Megan design set and our more recent Ryan one.

Basem will be working on some additional angles and/or closeups of existing locations we've done before, such as a close in view of the Mana: the Mastery card tournament tables where we will later meet Mark and Mary, a close up of the Classi Cafe booth, one of a panel room door with staffer chair that we can use multi-purpose for card room, normal panel room, viewing room, and main event room.
