This “Eating Out” storyline is surprisingly pleasing. When Foxy isn’t overtly manipulating people and making haters of the readers, it’s all good. No one is all bad — well, maybe Chloe. Melanie this time and Synn last time were great. If the princess Mary only can loosen up a bit then everyone can have plenty of fun. So the next instalment should be rewarding too. Great update. But I’ll admit I’m craving the next TT update.

I feel like the GG sidestory needed overhauled because it was missing the kind of depth and introspection that really cast new light onto the characters and what their thought processes were. It's been a headache rewriting this into EO, but I like to think the end result makes a difference.

I had my doubts when you invested that much time into the rewrite but I definitely appreciate the direction of EO afterwards. So I suppose it worked out well. In the end, short term pain for long term gain.

We don't get Foxy's pov here but it is very clear he is being the same selfish manipulative predator he was before. It's just that at this moment all the other povs (even Mary in her own shallow way) are all mis judging his actions and seeing him only in a positive light (with some extra magic manipulation reinforcement). Don't get me wrong all of this is very well written and very enjoyable to read but Foxy has a looooong way to go to be anything other than an antagonist.
