If you're a Waifu-tier patron and would like to submit a character to appear in the bonus chapters, please message me as soon as you're able! The earlier I can plan and work characters into the storyline, the better ideas can snowball into great chapters. We have a good general story going already with some killer subplots, but it's not too late to introduce more characters, and this'll be the best chapter to do so!

Brian Douglas— 23 year old male cosplaying a Darkmask minion from Hero Hero Haruki.

Stephanie Brandt— 22 year old female cosplaying Flamituff from Monster Battlers.

Megan Green— 22 year old female cosplaying Pandape from Monster Battlers.

Kelly (Killy) Killarney— early-twenties female dressed in gothic lolita fashion.

Christine (Chloe) Weschler— 23 year old female cosplaying Magical Doll Himari.

Fawkes (Foxy) Loxly— mid-twenties male. Acquired a position as one of the Judges.

Mary Ouyang— 19 year old female, the little sister of Brian’s friend Mark Ouyang.

Bill Myers— mid-twenties male, Amanda’s boyfriend and volunteer staffer.

Amanda Stevens— mid-twenties female, something of an exhibitionist. Volunteer staffer.

Jordyn (Synn) Wells— 24 year old female cosplaying Dimitri Dhampir from Hellstate.

Melanie (Neko) Campbell— 18 year old female cosplaying Blaire Bellefonte from EMRLD.

(Tigra’s Fletcher)— late-twenties male, longtime AnimeCon staff veteran.

Sarah (Sara Star) K.— early-twenties female and famous cosplayer.

So wait, Brian & Co + Megan + Loxley + Chloe all in the same place at the same time?! Oh hell yeah! I just don't know how you're going to be able to have so many people be a part of 'bonus content' without feeling like the main story is missing something.

I think the main chapters are characterized by a LOT of references tying to each other in a way that (I hope) makes the story feel tightly woven together. Characters remembering conversations from past chapters (and how what was said may affect what's happening now), having their actions and decisions influenced by what has happened, and having misunderstandings or assumptions that are unique to their specific perspectives in the story, built off of their experiences. For the side chapters I've been playing a little more fast and loose. Interesting, but not quite vital events, that won't be referenced in the main chapters. Ones that don't necessarily influence change in the main characters in a major way. You could, for instance, argue that Steph being spanked on stage in front of a live audience is a big ordeal for her--but it's more a gradual continuation of the craziness she's been through this weekend, rather than an event that abruptly sends her character arc onto a new or different path.

So pumped to see Mel worked into the story. It's gonna be so awesome.
