Fairly simple, what would you consider the ideal length for a main series story to be in terms of chapter count?

The shortest main series story I've written is Roots of Control, at four chapters. The longest, by far, will be Ghost Boy at twenty-seven chapters when it ends. Every other main series fits inside that range somewhere. The question is, what length of story do you like to see more? Short and sweet, long and interesting, somewhere in between?

Whatever wins this poll will be the guide with which I plan future main series stories. The replacements for Ghost Boy and Influencer, in particular. Which isn't to say that they'll end on that length, I might well extend future series in the same way Influencer has been extended from fifteen chapters to twenty. But I will be plotting the main story arcs of the next two main series to fit within this poll's winner.

If the final option "Depends On The Series" wins, I'll start adding series lengths to the options in new series polls. So you'll have that potential series' name, description, and rough length when deciding on which story to vote on.
