Update - July 2020 (Patreon)

Howdy!

This month, provided there are no more unexpected breaks, will see the end of Ghost Boy. I have a few ideas on stories to replace it, which you'll see in the poll next week. Whatever wins that vote will be the story that replaces Ghost Boy. I may or may not add a 'Surprise Me' option to the poll, I haven't decided yet. Guess we'll find out next week!

Speaking of polls, I'm pretty bad at making them. Which is to say, I don't make nearly enough. Basically, right now, polls pretty much only ever happen when a series ends. I want to change that going forward. This month, there will be a poll every week - to get me into the habit of remembering to make them. And, starting at the end of July, there will be a monthly poll in which y'all will be able to decide on a One-Shot/What If story for me to write that will be available for all patrons to read.

And, now that's out of the way, I want to take a moment to say thanks.

In June I took a week off and, where I was worried that people would be annoyed and unhappy at the lack of content, I instead got well-wishes and understanding. Both publicly on the post I made and in private messages, all I received was positivity - not a single negative message at all. For that, thank you. I appreciate it, truly.

When I first set up this Patreon page, I had these two goals in mind. Targets for me to aim for and hopefully reach by the end of that year. One was 'realistic', an attainable target; the second I considered unlikely and improbable - my 'aim for the stairs, land on the moon' target. At the end of my very first month on Patreon, my first, realistic goal had been stomped. By the end of the second month, I'd surpassed even the goal I thought was unrealistic. Since then, the support I've continued to receive for y'all has been amazing.
