So yep, this is an experiment!

As mentioned in the last Patreon post, I was considering making a kind of compilation video for this coming week where I'll be away. But I wasn't entirely sold on just a straight-up clips show with no context. So I added context!

This is the complete saga of the LGR Woodgrain 486, from initial build to the latest updates, with new segments along the way. There's a fresh intro, new bits with anecdotes and details in between every old video, and a whole new update section at the end going over the bits I haven't covered in other videos before.

I'll be adding chapters to the final upload to make it easier to navigate what's new and what's old, but yeah. Here's the early edit! And now I'm off to Milwaukee for MGC. Hope to see some of y'all there :)

This is so terrible I love it! I built an OptiPlex sleeper once and I felt the same way you did. I would like to build an old computer with old components. I feel like it would be interesting in its own way.

well, damn. 5 hours of LGR. I couldn't be happier!

Looks awesome. Time for a woodgrain keyboard next? ;)

So what you are saying is... you could form a three-letter word with jumpers..... "LGR"?
