That was great, thank you! Windows 98 would get a vote from me, was very familiar with 98 SE but re-living the original experience would be very interesting! The keyboard overlay thing at the end reminded me of the epic M1 Tank Platoon, used to love putting that overlay on the IBM model M and going on campaigns with the Boys from Co. B! Feels like the keyboard overlay cut-out thing is a nice bit of retro memoriabilia, nice and tactile. Seasons greetings Clint and all!

Clint, the best thrift stores are sometimes the ones in no-man’s-land, I would love to see you go deep into Deliverance style country and see what you could unearth. Thrifts may not be a current top performer, but your fan base loves them.

Question: How is your demographics looking? Has it changed significantly since you started way back 10+ years ago? I would assume the majority is in their 30s or 40s, considering retro and nostalgia are a big part of your channel. Have a great Christmas and hope the new year will be a bit calmer for you :)

We had the same (or at least very similar) leather couch set in our living room in the early 90s... quite comfortable.

Hey, Clint! Been loving these monthly updates. Great to see you more "unplugged" and yourself. I'm a scotch man myself, usually an Islay or Speyside single malt. Here's my question for the next update: I think you and I are similar in our ADHD, and maybe even autism spectrum issues that make it hard to stay on task and actually manage time successfully. How do you stay focused, and force yourself to film even when you may not want to? As it is now for me, it's hard to find time to film. I'm sure I have plenty of time, but I just struggle setting a schedule and keeping it. Plus my wife and I both work from home in a tiny house lol, so it's hard to carve out the time and the space where I wouldn't be disturbing her.

Side funny question: Who's your favorite TINY retro tech YouTube channel and why is it C64Woody? ;) KIDDING!

I've had my eye on Beam NG Drive for a while now, but I think you've sold me on it. Gotta check it out! Also, I have to ask where you got that blanket that's hanging on the back of your couch. It is *Chefs kiss*. Happy holidays, Clint!

Right here! It's a Susan Kare piece so it's pretty special as a fan of classic Macs and vintage computing in general :) https://www.areaware.com/products/cairo-throw

For some reason I find it so amusing when you curse! It really makes me feel like you're letting the facade drop and speak to us freely. Completely understand not cursing in your videos, as YouTube hates cursing. I certainly swear a lot in my personal time, but not professionally. Strangely, it makes your patreon videos more interesting to me.

Question: Now that you have your own place, are you going to get a cat? How are the cats that found you at your previous place, do you have info on them?

LazyGameReviews

Yeah I certainly feel more myself in these patron-only videos. In "public" I certainly like to keep it clean, it just makes sense for YouTube or whenever kids may be around. It's kinda funny though – so many of the cleanest/most family-friendly YouTuber folks that I know will casually swear up a storm outside of their videos. Just goes to show how much of a facade there can be at times :)

Every single F bomb shatters reality and I'm here for it 😂

Super down for more locations for thrifts 50 and beyond. New thrift stores, flea markets, small game stores, half price books, whatever man.

Question: Maybe I missed this, but are you planning to do any LGR Foods anytime soon?

Question: I’m considering turning on monetization on my Youtube channel. It’s small. 12k subs, small community that watches and comments on everything, and the occasional video that does well on Reddit or wherever. Do you have any tips or insight on how to monetize without alienating subscribers?
