Phew, I was actually able to get this one done this week! Just barely! Finished the render late this morning and went ahead and made it public, since it's already Friday and I'm about to leave again for another weekend trip. No conventions this time, just seeing some family and friends for the first time in years. Apologies for not getting this episode out to you early this week, but it was all I could do to get it done between last week's convention trip and this weekend trip. Busy days remain busy, so it goes.

As for the subject of the video, well! This is one nifty machine, one I've been wanting to cover for years now. After Acer began selling Ferrari laptops in the mid 2000s, it wasn't long before competing companies followed suit with their own branded computers. And this is one of them, the Asus Lamborghini VX2S from 2007. Specifically the Ultimate Bundle, which cost roughly $4,000 on launch. Thankfully it had top-end performance to somewhat justify the price tag, but that's still a big chunka change and I can't imagine a ton of these were sold. As evidenced by how it took me like 3 years of saved searches on eBay before I found this one for sale last year in nice condition.

And now it's time for me to hit the road. Hopefully I'll have time to finish up the video for next week once I return, which will be a bit of a simpler one if so. We'll see. Thanks so much for your ongoing support, and take care!

I may be missing a joke but Oblivion was Elder Scrolls 4 not 6.

M.T.

Imagine if you did a livestream of an old Need For Speed game head to head over a LAN with this and one of the Acer Ferrari notebooks, heheheh

Yeah you're under suspicion of being a time traveller again

Imagine being the rich kid rolling up to a LAN party with this thing. Also it sounds like there is more to the story about the bag... Irksome
