One last donations unboxing for this year! Pretty self-explanatory, heh. Many thanks to everyone who contributed and also made offers to do so! It's always humbling the kinda stuff that gets offered up.

Oh and there's a random bit of music around 11 minutes into the current edit of this video, it's something I'll be fixing in the final upload. Just randomly-placed sleigh bells playing, haha.

I've got one more holiday-themed video in the works so stay tuned for that next week sometime. It's my birthday this weekend so I'll be taking a couple days to just chill, catch up with some games, TV, making music, whatever. Turning 34, fun fun.

Have a good week, folks!

Happy Early Birthday man! Really enjoyed the Christmas Clones this year. Keep up the great work.

Congrats on successfully existing almost 34 years

Happy birthday fellow Sagittarius! Mine was a week ago :)

FYI You're saying "Navigation keys" twice at ~8:25

Will you be putting Quiz Master on Archive.Org?? If it's not already there and seems to function, at least. The ones I saw are from the 2000s.

Outstanding unboxing, Sir! Looking forward to new vids featuring these crazy items. Hope you are well, and stay safe through the holiday season. All the best!

I see a sealed Journeyman Project Turbo box in the background...man I knew I loved this channel

LazyGameReviews

Thanks, Rik. Stay safe as well, just one final month to make it through of this nonsensical year!

LazyGameReviews

Heck yeah. Had to grab a copy after playing it recently on the Packard Bell Corner Computer I covered. Lovely game, still has a stellar atmosphere to it.

Happy birthday!! Mine is the 17th, I’m turning 31 so I am feeling your “ugh thirties” pain

Ah, I remember seeing that laptop magnet quite a few times back in the day at those novelty magnet shops that used to be in every mall. And happy early birthday!

Christmas came early!!

QEMM! That was required tool back in the dos gaming days

Hey, i actually have a pretty similar model of that Compaq—i think it’s the LTE5300? got it for free with a lot of Commodores a few years back. it too, had that ridiculously big docking station. i was lucky enough to get both floppy and CD-ROM expansion bays, but i had to literally tear up the docking station because the spring loaded mechanism for pushing out the expansion bays BROKE, resulting in it holding my poor CD-ROM drive hostage. regardless of the docking station being destroyed, the laptop itself is my go-to for DOS gaming or running 3.x/95/98

Just started, what a lot of boxes! Happy Birthday!

Awesome stuff - and happy birthday! As I grind my way into my mid 40s, 34 seems awfully nice. By the way I’ve never seen the FinKL version of THPS (so random even for Korea!) but anyway the group was one of the most popular Kpop girl groups of the late 90s / early 00s. I definitely had a crush on one or two of the members back in the day. Enjoy one of their biggest hits: https://youtu.be/wGbdFm9dAko

This year was 37 for me, haha. So yaaaay. Happy Birthday, regardless!

Just an FYI, around the 20 minute mark you say “From James” when the letter says the name Aaron on it

Woot, 34-sies! So many amazing items there to make videos on, that Compaq, that Weather Station!

Happy birthday! Almost the same birthday as Mr. Keen!

Holy crap, I remember QEMM! I used it because my old 386 was running Doublespace to get more use out of its pitiful 125 MB hard drive. Doublespace took up about 50k of conventional memory and couldn't easily be moved into High Memory, so QEMM had a feature called "Stealth Doublespace" that let it be loaded into HMA but the system didn't know the difference. It worked fine until TIE Fighter pitched a fit and didn't like it, at which point I had to do the boot disk shuffle to not load CD-ROM or mouse drivers if I wanted to play the floppy version of TIE Fighter.

Speaking as a fellow weather nerd, I've got to say that I'm very much looking forward to your video on the Weatherlink thing! Great stuff.

"This video has been removed by the uploader" :( edit: working again (the URL wasn't truncated; I blame (rolls die) planetary alignment)

LazyGameReviews

Where do you see that? Click the embedded video or the links in the post above, they're up to date and should work just fine 👍

LazyGameReviews

Ahh whoops. That happens from time to time since I read the name on the box itself before I open it up and see any notes.

LazyGameReviews

I am unreasonably excited for that, haha. Tracking my local weather using Windows 3.1 is a dream come true.

Happy Birthday, Clint! And brother! That Davies Weather Station! I installed one JUST LIKE IT in 2018 on the school I worked at. Bought in late 2017 it was like 300USD for the hardware plus another 200USD for the software, and the soft is so old that is compatible with Win95 still, as you only need to read the HTML files that it generates. If you need any help setting it up, shoot me a DM. Fantastic load of stuff. Loved the posters specially, the one for Keen is really beautiful and the Clintuke 3D one is just amazing. Thanks for the video and, in case you don't upload next week, Merry Christmas!

34. So young! I remember my thirties... Good times! Happy birth week young man! 🎉

muah. Spectacular unboxing. Problem with those videos is that they make me itch in anticipation to all the subsequent videos on the donated stuff.

Clint -- I have a private/locked/whatever acct on Twitter but I had to tell you: 1) HAPPY BIRTHDAY! spoil thyself! 2) if you haven't tried Kinder Bueno yet, it is a wonderful candy bar available in Canada, but it is also here in the states! Try it if you like nutella.
