Well, with the snow mechanic there now, along with rainfall, and considering the kinds of updates they seem to do to the game in general, I've got a hunch dynamic, changing seasons and weather forecasting may be in the works. Heck, even the description of the pack notes a "new in-game weather system" which isn't exactly accurate, but not exactly inaccurate... Hmmmmmmmm...

Oh, so this is why Steam updated my Cities: Skylines game yesterday. :P Maybe I'll grab this xpac on sale sometime... we'll see. ...And you're never going to stop mentioning eerie ambiance in your videos, are you? :)

Yes, that definetely leaves us thinking. I think they are planning a more complex weather/season system. But who knows

It's very pretty to see the snow, but I live in a tropical country and it would feel very awkward for me to plan things for neverending winter. But the rain very welcome

Thanks for the review. The lack of integration to existing maps turns me off. If they make a change, will you re-address it?

It's an interesting approach, but a bit of a shame that it's not fully integrated. Maybe it's a stepping stone, and if it is… hopefully not another DLC pack.

Well the more this game advanced the more I am likely to try it again. But for me so far this game was way weaker than simcity 5 so I stand with simcity 4. But maybe if it puts enough atmosphere in it I can overlook the weak simulation. Which I hope is improving too.

That explains why it was suddenly raining in my city after a few months of inactivity. I'm grateful that it was snowing, I already spent half the day shoveling...
