I played the SHIT out of Farming Sim 2013

How come there isn't a Mowing simulator? I mow at a Golf Course and I would love to play a game where you can use different mowers in different areas...

LazyGameReviews

Farming Simulator has a pretty involved lawnmowing aspect to it! While crops are growing, you can run a lawnmowing business on the side. It's pretty involved, for what is essentially a side quest. Beyond that, I know there are some indie games about mowing lawns :)

So it's a relatively-expensive cheap-feeling steering setup.. great.. err nope

A sim controller made for the purpose of farming? That's the sort of frivolous insanity I can get behind. :D

This looks great. I have a friend who is obsessed with this game, so if it goes on sale he may get it. But yeah, I was also thinking it could probably be made with a wheel/pedals and a flight sim controller. If someone has a recommendation, let me know.

We really need more Country Bumpkin Clint.

I love that there'll actually be a market for this kind of specialised equipment again. Sure, it's for a game that I'm really into - but there's plenty of folk who'll appreciate it. I was laughing at you trying Doom with it… but then Mario 3? Cripes. Masterstroke of genius, or madness? I'm not sure yet :)

I don't know how you did it, but in this video, your nerd levels were the highest I've ever seen them... and that's saying something! But it was fun to watch because you were having so much fun. :) And speaking of fun, I'm guessing we won't be seeing you for a while due to Fallout 4. :P Thanks for the video, though!!

Man, how good would this be on Oculus Rift if you could get all the buttons in the correct place?

The suicide knob on that thing is a great touch.

When you get this far into your Farming Simulator addiction, you might as well just open your own farm.

Oh boy, what is that horribled tv snowflakes sound at the end? I prefer your south accented voice much better.

Clint, the sound breaks at 14:34 into loud static. Might need to resubmit this video.

Audio corrupts at the end. Great video, but it might murder some headphone users.

Doom will never be the same again

I love elaborate controllers that help immerse players into a game, but $300 for one with that level of build quality seems a bit on the high side... $200 seems closer to the right price point.

Might have to get just the panel at some point. I just genuinely like odd and/or specific controllers, like the Gamecube one with a keyboard in it or one-handed controllers.

Anonymous

That was really fun to watch lol, especially you playing Mario 3.

If you're doing new oddware, you should do a Steam controller video!

Totally in agreement with the summary: The control panel looks amazing for a whole lot of different scenarios, especially with the multi-axis rotary-joystick-knob, but the wheel and pedals look cheap as dirt. If it were half the price, I'd see the value in it, but at $300 USD and not even coming with the game, it doesn't seem like a great value to me. An aside, I see you run your NES emulator in integer scale mode for precision pixel peeping. What emulator are you using that colours the borders according to the overscan?
