Yay! A new episode of LGR Thrifts! Can't wait to see what you've picked up this time!

The k pro 2 is so cool, can't wait to see a video on it :)

John Kinsman

Pretty awesome finds in this episode!! I should go thrifting more often..

Anonymous

That tank with the valve looked like it may be a water softener.

Anonymous

I enjoyed that little pot joke a bit too much :')

Anonymous

Now all you need to do is 3D print a spacebar and you're set!

Anonymous

So happy this is back!

Anonymous

Damn. Managed to find some rather neat stuff this time. And I was sitting here already impressed by that bucketload of 2600/7800 carts. But the Kaypro? Nice - hopefully finding a replacement Space Bar won't be too tricky - be good to see a system review of that eventually ;)

Anonymous

dat Kaypro though. So nice to find something historic.

Ezydenias

I love this format. I wish I could send something. We go on fleamarkets because there are no thrift stores over here but normaly we only come home with allot of pokémon card xD.^^ I never had really gotten anything worthy to show except a Bandmaster Harmonica for 10 bucks which is freaking awesome.^^ But I should take a camera with me one time because there is stuff you wouldn't belief like Magazines for an STG44 or a big as Cinema Projector from the fox knows when. But the Fleamarkt ist filled with idiots who charge way to much for their stuff but man!. The only weird thing we are looking out is for an old GDR Mixer (<a href="http://i.ebayimg.com/t/DDR-Mixer-RG-28s-mit-Zubehoer-Orange-Handmixer-Ruehrgeraet-Handruehrgeraet-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/X4oAAOSw34FVArM" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://i.ebayimg.com/t/DDR-Mixer-RG-28s-mit-Zubehoer-Orange-Handmixer-Ruehrgeraet-Handruehrgeraet-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/X4oAAOSw34FVArM</a>~/$_57.JPG) because seriously it is undistructable!. And it is already about 30 years old.^^ Talking about quality!.^^ Yeah but normaly you just see allot of rust everywhere or stupid vases and crap.^^ But I really should have made a photo of the Filmprojector that thing was just awesome and huge!. No Idea who could lift that.^^

Man I was just about to ask about this series, too! Glad you're bringing it back, I had anticipated it since the last :)

Anonymous

Nice direction to take the show.. that's why I go to thrift stores. I rarely find anything good.. but I'm always entertained.

LazyGameReviews

Can't wait to make one! I've also talked about my Kaypro IV in this video ages ago: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLnTAYMMLOc" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLnTAYMMLOc</a>

LazyGameReviews

Quite possibly! It was actually pretty lightweight too, like it was made of hard plastic instead of metal.

LazyGameReviews

Oh yeah, it's as much about the journey as it is the reward. I really gotta make it to the Charlotte area this season

LazyGameReviews

That Sony is my new bae. <a href="https://twitter.com/lazygamereviews/status/582281510822277120" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://twitter.com/lazygamereviews/status/582281510822277120</a>

LazyGameReviews

Hey, I would've been super psyched with just the carts too! This is only like, the third time in 6 six years finding carts like that in the wold

What kind of camera glasses you using now? I need to get some.

LazyGameReviews

These here. Very similar to my last pair: <a href="http://www.amazon.com/iVUE-Horizon-Camera-Recording-Sunglasses/dp/B00NAI092S" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.amazon.com/iVUE-Horizon-Camera-Recording-Sunglasses/dp/B00NAI092S</a>

VCR rewinder -- remember why they even existed? Fargin' Blockbuster hassled you if you didn't rewind!!

Anonymous

Thrifting! *flails*

Lindsay Michelle

After hearing that Goodwill was no longer going to take CRT televisions, I half expected you to do a montage of all the times you looked at CRT televisions at Goodwill over last season, set to sad violin and piano music.

Anonymous

So glad to see a new episode of LGR Thrifts!

LazyGameReviews

Haha, I actually plan to do that once I finally go in there and see no CRTs anymore. It'll be sad.

Kris Asick

Noticed your new camera glasses don't stabilize the image as well as your older ones... maybe a settings change needs to be done or something? *shrugs* Lots of neat finds though! :)

LazyGameReviews

Didn't notice anything too different with stabilization, but it's possible! There are no settings to change regarding that though, so I hope it's not too unbearable.

Anonymous

So uh, wouldn't that copy of The Sims 4 be completely useless if the code's already been activated?

Alyxx the Rat

Some really good finds there. That Kaypro 2 is awesome.

Anonymous

YES.. been looking forward to this. Some good find with the Kaypro. Im really wondering, how much of the other stuff ever leaves the store once its in there. there is so much wield crap.

Criwall

Awesome finds. It's too bad we don't have many good thrift stores in Sweden. Games and old computers are almost impossible to find and most of the ones you do find are DVD-case versions, and never console games. However I did manage to get a sealed copy of a big box Pandoras Box... :D

Anonymous

Sweet! That blew by so fast. Was cool to see one of my finds at the end, thanks Clint!

Mintaka

Aww yeah, it's back. That Kaypro, whoa....

Brandie Drown

Love the thrifts!! Love to see all that you buy and the random crap that you find!

Anonymous

Thanks for the early bday present! (haha) LGR Thrifts is by far my favorite video series and just seeing it sent my computer loving heart pumping for more. Great way for the series to start! Thanks for the video man!

Anonymous

Oh man, I would have grabbed that Atari box and bolted for the checkout. I'm just getting started on my 2600 collection and there would have only been a couple duplicates there! PS: I got an MSX2+ recently, a Panasonic FS-A1WX to be exact. Built in FDD with new belt, 15khz RGB output, and the last Panasonix MSX2+ with the tape interface :D

Anonymous

Awesome! Was definitely worth watching all the way through to the end.

Daniel Nelms

Cool find on the k pro! I could try and 3d print a space bar in black if you get me the measurements.

Anonymous

YAY! Now you can finally review some Tex Murphy FMV games!

Anonymous

Holy shit, Rock Jocks!! My brother and I owned that game when we were kids! I forgot it even existed!! Also, go back!! Legend of Zelda game!!!! *paws monitor*

Anonymous

I remember in some of the older lgr thrifts you found some print programs. I wonder if you'll do a retrospective on them. Plus I understand that you're a collector, but I always wondered how much the stuff you find goes for.

Anonymous

I firmly believe that everyone should have a copy of Under A Killing Moon. The constitution should say so ! Who's with me ?

Anonymous

Oh oh, that MMX logo. The sign of the best software in the late 1990's. So glad to see Thrifts back.
