A Bernoulli box? Sounds like a kitchen appliance

19:27 Oh hey, it's those things that Techmoan did a video on a couple weeks ago.

Anonymous

Nice! Some good mint condition old stock in this video!

Anonymous

Glad you had a good vacation! Remember to take time for yourself as the year goes on! (:

Counter Surprise

Great stuff you got this time. Great video. Go easy on the Dutch candy. The stroopwafels are highly addictive and are sold at Walmart as well - just a hint. The drop is one of my favorites but is an acquired taste. Remember when you did the Sinterklaas video of Wiering software? The candy found in the PQ3 box belongs to that holiday and also is very addictive. Enjoy!

Those Gravis joysticks were ubiquitous in their day. Seemed like everyone's house I went to that had a PC had one of those joysticks. I did as well. I remember playing F15 Strike Eagle and Articfox with it quite a bit.

Two LGR episodes in one day? Today is a good day

I worked at a place that transferred data onto microfiche back in the mid 90s, and we had that Bernoulli box!! Brings back memories.

Clemente d'Angelo

Techmoan did a nice video about that ebook readers two week ago. We want now a new video about that Bernoulli Box.

Foone Turing

Oh wow, that Bernoulli box in-box! that's amazing. I've been trying to collect stuff to get one of those working (I've got a bunch of the 5.25" Bernoulli Box 2 disks and drives) but the old Bernoulli Box 1 drives are so hard to find... and you just got one IN BOX! that's just amazing. I have a bunch of disks (in box!) and cleaning disks (ALSO IN BOX) if you need any extra media to go with it for a video

I think I had that Tonka game some time ago. Also, am pretty convienced that that was Techmoan offloading his Data Discman stuff onto ya. :P

Foone Turing

oh and I also have some of that Phase-change Dual media, if you need some.

Adam Baxter

Oh my! 4x4 Evo! I'm not sure whether I played the first or the second growing up but that brought back memories

I’d love to one day see you do a video on Capstone. They did a lot of games i remember playing quite well.

And if you need any sparq disks i actually have one of those drives on my packard bell 98 machine. I believe the drives come with a disk though.

Stroopwaffels are the best! Pop one on top of your morning coffee for a minute or two to let the gooey caramel goodness begin!

Love these unboxing videos.. cool stuff, Clint

Techmoan recently did a great video about those Panasonic book readers.

I have a feeling that you are quite popular here in the Netherlands - I found out that many of my friends (especially my fellow students at Computer Science) watch your channel! So, greetings from another Dutch fan, and enjoy the stroopwafels! (syrup waffles)

Captive is a great game! A fun early "gridder" dungeon crawler with an interesting sci-fi twist. It's also the work of Tony Crowther, who was very well-renowned back in that era for producing excellent (and enormously ambitious!) games. Captive is noteworthy for having over 65,000 possible levels, all generated via seed rather than stored directly on the disks. As such, no two games will be quite alike, and the whole game fit on (if I remember rightly) just two floppy disks!

yeah, those acorn machines are surprisingly hard to come by. there's currently only one A3010 on ebay which is a bit overpriced for my taste (got mine for half the price).

Steve Skafte

Great to see some snacks from my Dutch heritage. Big fan of stroopwafels! The salty candy, not so much. Haha.

I had one of those Sparq drives back in the day. I liked it quite a bit. Might even still have it in a closet somewhere.

Anonymous

Ah, Wonderland. Great game.

The main question is: Did you like the stroopwafels ?! :)

LazyGameReviews

It's actually the 7th most popular country that LGR is viewed in, ahead of countries like Brazil, Poland, and Finland!

LazyGameReviews

I have been keeping my eye on that one. Considering its completeness and what good shape it's in, the price doesn't seem too absurd historically, at least for Ebay. Still, yeah. Costly stuff.

A coworker at my office walked away with his phone sitting next to me unlocked... His ringer is now you saying, "Stroopwafels?!?!?" over and over on a loop.
