Hey Clint, I recently received a Macintosh Performa 5400/160 All-in-one. I did a bit of research on it, found that it wasn't sold in the US at all, only Europe and Asia, but I can't seem to find an original cost price for it, so I have no idea how valuable or sort after this machine is. I was wondering if you knew anything more about this machine, as I would love to see if I can get it working and perhaps sell it off. I would love to send it over, but it weights a mother trucking ton and would probably cost too much to ship from the UK.

LazyGameReviews

Can't say I have that info either; I'm a PC, not a Mac ;) Might wanna do some Googling! And yeah it'd definitely be cost-prohibitive to ship overseas.

I saw "Unboxing", and "'17" in the email, and thought you had uploaded another monitor unboxing!

Woah! Heavy "motherlode"! :) Tell you what, Rob (Mr. Obsolete) will certainly tell you where that weird dsub connector on the beat up monitor goes. He had one of those on his retro computers here in Texas last weekend. Can't remember which, maybe it was the Next Workstation or something. Also, he's probably drooling over those Japanese games! :D And finally that KQ5! I'm drooling over that one! Score! :D

Hey Clint! If we wanted to send you something to review on unboxing do you have a PO Box address we can send to? Also what are you taking/not taking at the moment?

Another awesome goodies video! Too bad some of the stuff got beat up again, I'm sure the Sun monitor can be rescued (it appears to have cosmetic damage only). A Gravis Ultrasound ACE card, upgraded to 1 meg of sample ram! I've had mine since I bought it brand new back in 1996, you should consider installing it in your woodgrain 486 with the Soundblaster Pro 2 Clint. Won't do anything for games like Jill of the Jungle or Duke Nukem 2, but others like Epic Pinball and One Must Fall 2097 will sound glorious. The reason it's so small is because it's a playback-only sound card designed to work alongside others, so no recording capability, gameport connector or internal amp (only line in and line out). Looks like it came with the software floppies, install guide and manuals; you're missing the audio patch cable (easy to replace), retail box and bonus software CD. http://i.imgur.com/R0gaiaP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zVjRUmO.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Xv57P3x.png http://i.imgur.com/bCabaLt.png Yes, the retail box looks ridiculous - what can I say, that's how it used to be in the 90s. My GUS ACE also came with the full version of Doom 2 (CD and manual). Can't wait for your Gravis Ultrasound review video that includes this little red card and see what you think of it compared to the larger GUS cards. Cheers! ^^

That Nintendo stick needs to go in an oddware episode eventually.

You're going to seriously have to think about opening up the LGR Computer and Oddware Museum with as much stuff as people keep sending you.

This is an awesome box, and I don't meant to detract from how awesome it is. But, in the bottom left in the first image, isn't that the scary meme wolf? Ha!

I have that Microsoft Cordless mouse. Mine isn't in its box sadly. Its a good mouse for Win98 definitely if like me you are short on space. The only issue I had was the reciever has to be in direct sight of the mouse otherwise it won't work.

I got caught up with your thrift vids and have a suggestion: why not post a list of some stuff that you're having a hard time finding? never know someone might have what you're looking for. Might be a bit faster than finding whatever in the wild.

Joon Choi

I don't know how you have room for all this stuff Clint. Even with your own home and the storage unit. Looks like you'll have to move to an empty barn in rural Kansas or something - as long as it has Verizon Fios, amirite?? :)

That might also lead to people jacking up the price if they know a high profile youtuber is trying to get their hands on something!

LazyGameReviews

I don't make the address public and only hand it out on a per-person basis after discussing what they have in mind to send and how. But feel free to send a message about it!

Dude I had a P233 Gateway and P100 with that same case as a high schooler.. They hold a special place in my heart. I really want to build a modern PC in one of those Gateway cases. If you do it, it would be awesome :) I think mine was the first to have "SDRAM" and maxed out at 64MB Ram , Computer cost me like $2500 bucks which felt like 10K at the time... I had to finance it.
