I won't have time to watch this until later on tonight, but when I do I will be breaking into my good scotch to enjoy with it 😀

Anonymous

Looks like you repeated the last of the platformers and show games bit twice

dan2304k

At 6:50 there is a loop in the space-time continuum...

I love Big Boxes, sure they're unethical for storage on shelves; but they look so cool and are chalk full of advertisement!

Anonymous

I like big boxes and I cannot lie, you otha' brothas can't deny...! 💖 Sierra and Lucasarts collection are my favourites. I also have the RWANTH collection. :D Pure retro porn, man! Pure...!

Anonymous

That's one hell of a collection! Makes me wish that I can redeem physical copies of my Steam collection!

Anonymous

Awesome collection. Do you have Fallout New Vegas Collectors Edition? If not, I've got it here and am happy to post it to you.

Anonymous

I absolutely love it! Ever plan to have a tour of your home next? Heh :)

Simply incredible sir, well done! Really enjoyed this. Making these big boxes fit, while also organizing them in a coherent group is no easy task. One thing you mentioned was having one of your most valuable games on the bottom shelf. I know with my collection I try to avoid putting those ones on the bottom, just in case my basement floods. Maybe just being paranoid, but ya never know! I also like the idea of leaving placeholders whenever possible. Whenever you get a new game, the jigsaw puzzle of adding it into the shelves can be pretty labour intensive! Cheers :)

i can help find a box copy of lego racers 2

Foone Turing

Whoa, S.C.A.R.A.B.! I played the demo off some PC Gamer disk, never saw a big box release. Awesome! As for applications, that's a nice collection. My local junkshop has a ton of boxed applications, I'll take some pictures next time I'm there, see if there's any you want

Jazz outro music and Snoopy have long been an idea match.. I approve

LazyGameReviews

I honestly put a lot of blame on the Peanuts cartoon specials for my enjoyment of jazz from that era

Dammit man, you shoulda warned us. This is straight up pornography :P Glad I could help with Amsterdoom ;)

The plight of every game collection... how to organize everything. It is a struggle that is never won...you may think you have, but then you get something new. And the struggle happens yet again.

X-files review! Dad had them on his computer desk when I was a kid but I never got to play it.. Don't remember him playing it either come to think of it.

Anonymous

loved hoyle board games, played wayy too many chinese checkers.

Beautiful...... Just beautiful...... So much I recognize and remember, so many memories...... It's almost too much...... Manly tears of joy are being shed as I type this (sniff, sniff...... ;_;). Thank you for yet another wonderful video Clint, your collection is truly something to behold and admire (grabs a tissue box from a nightstand '^^').

Still glad to see a tour. I couldn't help but notice Cybermage, such a Big Box. ;-) Also Mechwarrior 2 and Resident Evil 2, X-Com, Dungeon Keeper... All the games I played a stupid amount of times. And I plan to play some more. I'd like to replay Cybermage. It was good and fascinating. But sometimes too much maze-like and I still hate that one giant switches-happy level. So annoying !

you should do i have no mouth and i must scream

Anonymous

You still dont have Curse of monkey island? That is a shame, it is awesome game. I have seen it in eBay. But I guess they are european versions?

Anonymous

Ah, that first person maze screensaver on your computer brings back memories. There was a time in my childhood where I spent more time playing around with screensavers than games. Would love to see a screensaver special episode one day :)

Alyxx the Rat

I actually got Curse of Monkey Island around the early 2000's from this PC game magazine my mom was subscribing to. In each issue they would include a full version of a game and Curse happened to be one of them. They had other full games too, including MDK so it was really good stuff. Shame the magazine doesn't really exist anymore.

Little feedback: at 6:40 in the video, the TV-show/Fighting games part repeats, word-by-word, with possibly a little footage supposed to be cut off. Might wanna edit that before the general release :)

mavrick

uuuuuhhhhh all your sports game are in alphabetical order but are not grouped by sport. by god man, put all your baseball games next to each other!!

Kris Asick

Trying to organize a physical collection THIS large would drive me bonkers; Part of the reason why I don't mind the switch to fully digital gaming services like GOG and Steam. Not that I don't understand the appeal, it's just... I mean... how LONG did it take you to organize all of that? ;)

LazyGameReviews

It never stops! I've been working on this re-do of the room for a couple weeks now, over there every day.

LazyGameReviews

Oh it shows up on Ebay, that's not the problem. Problem is finding one in good enough shape at a fair price :)

Anonymous

I think half of the fun of having a collection is sorting it... maybe I'm weird.

Anonymous

So satisfying.

Anonymous

So cool to see some of the stuff I donated (Compuserve box and some IBM Jr. stuff) made it into the collection!

Anonymous

How do you keep track of everything? Lotus 1-2-3?

Anonymous

Wow.. Stunts in the big box! I've been looking for that for, like, forever.

Anonymous

1440p? Hel ya

Dr Tom Servo

Cool video was strange YouTube first said the video was removed tried again loaded

Decent amount of Froggman action there. I spent a shameful amount of time playing Lethal Tender; a game that plays like it was created with Pie in the Sky software. Always got a little temporary tattoo in those boxes.

LazyGameReviews

It was made with PITS :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pie_in_the_Sky_(game_engine)#Lethal_Tender

LazyGameReviews

That's one I was lucky to get about 9 years ago when DOS games weren't as in demand! There were several copies on Ebay back then, I just grabbed the first one boxed

Anonymous

I had Pie in the Sky! I love 3D engines which explains my odd collection of VR Studio and Autodesk 3D studio boxes and Waite Group Press books :)

Wow! So many games to get excited about! Think Quick in the box! I think that started my love affair with map editors. Math Blaster Plus! Starflight! I'd never even heard of Sim Fish or Isle! Wisdom Tree box set? I only had the NES cartridges. One Must Fall had a box? I ordered direct by mail and only got a jewel case. I didn't see 2097, was that the original with humans? Do you have the manual that goes with that Terminator game? Not Future Shock, but the Bethesda one. I've seen and played a bunch of King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, but never seen or heard anything about the Manhunters. My interest has piqued! What is next to Rampage, is that World Tour? How detailed is the Jane's Apache game? Star Trek: Rebel Universe, that was my very first Trek game! Seeing the box of Birth of the Federation reminded me that's a game I used to have but somehow forgot. I remember have Chessmaster 2000 and Sargon III. What is Commander Keen's Trek '96? I didn't know King's Bounty was a precursor to Might & Magic. I'd only known KB from the remake and thought it had copied M&M's format. Having a video like this is great for insurance purposes in case, heaven forbid, something should happen to it. But aren't you worried that by telling folk you have a mysterious storage locker(s) out there somewhere, you might accidentally set off a Rat Race, Scavenger Hunt, It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World type scenario where dozens of geeks from around the world converge in search of your hidden treasure trove?

Steve Martin

Yay! I saw my Aces Over Europe donation in a happy place! So much better than sitting in a container in my closet!
