Now I want one :(

avfusion

Now this is some swoon-o-vision.

Robert Butler

I'm going to have to save up for one of these, dammit!

Hmm... I wonder if there's a means to change settings in Linux just to output black and white, that would make it more authentic!

I hate using 16:9 displays for retro games.. so yes, very nice to have 4:3! Also nice seeing a little Technmoan in there!

Omg I love it

Can you make an LGR Soundtrack? I love a lot of the cool jazz stuff you play and want to listen to more!

LazyGameReviews

That'd be fun, although I don't currently have the rights to distribute those tracks in their entirety.

Life of retropie.

It's awesome to see what ppl can come up with using a bit of ingenuity. It's also great when you do reviews on them. The other system you reviewed a few years ago was the first video of yours I watched and I've been an avid follower since. Keep up the great work, Clint. Looking forward to what's next. :)

David S. Grop

Oooooh nice shoutout to Techmoan, that guy is brilliant.

The fact that it's 4:3 seals the deal for me 😀

Alyxx the Rat

Oh god that is adorable!

Super cool but not something I would be picking up. I can live with a much less expensive way to doing it.

That is awesome, if I didn't have so many CRT screens already I'd love to have one.

BastetFurry

Would that be a movie where we want to see some games and all we see is a lament about the Pi's history with a few frames of game thrown in?

annd.. ordered one :|

moosemaimer

Are there any display filters you could run on the OS to make it look like a CRT, like pincushioning the sides in so it would fit the screen better and resemble a convex surface?

4:3 for the win in this case. It's such a lovely novelty concept - and very nice to look at.

Ossi K

Can't you fix that screen issue by tweaking overscan setting on raspberry pi? http://elinux.org/RPiconfig#Video

LazyGameReviews

Yes, but as briefly mentioned in the video I do not like the look of those. I think it looks worse rather than better!

Awesome! I had a Quantum 3D Voodoo Banshee for my Pentium 166MMX. It was a pretty decent card and ran pretty much every game at the time really well.
