Moving to New Mexico has gone well, but there was a lot of stuff to figure out with my new little house that my aunt used to rent to a hoarder. It's nice in here now and though it's small, I don't have much stuff, so I'm letting my aunt continue to store some of her crafting supplies here. She makes beautiful things and I don't want her to try and cram it all into her crafting room when I've got plenty of space.

My friend with Parkinson's is doing way way better because I've been helping him learn to meditate and enjoy life despite what he's struggling with. I've also been helping my aunt and uncle a lot and my aunt is smiling more than she has in a long time.

On a rather odd sidenote, before I left California, I ended up with a girlfriend. Her name is Sarah and she's a trans herm like me that happened to live in the greater LA area. JourneymanIK introduced us thinking we'd be good friends because we were so similar. Well, we tried to do the making friends thing on our first meeting, but it felt like a date to both of us, so we just went with it. We got three dates in before I had to leave to go back to NM. We're gonna take things slow and see what can be done about the long distance. She's open to moving and I'm open to visiting. I'll probably post more about her in the future.

Before I was introduced to her, I was thinking I might want to find someone to cuddle and stuff in New Mexico. Now I may have a long term solution to that problem. Things are amazing with her and I can't wait to see where things go from here.

Wow thats so lucky that you found each other! I hope things continue to go well and that you can maybe have her around ^^

I feel incredibly lucky and the hardest thing isn't the relationship itself, it's how much we miss each other. We were really feeling it today. Wish I could just hop on a plane nice and easy, but it takes a lot of planning and I also got some things to set up in NM before I'd feel okay heading back to LA for a while.
