It’s funny sometimes when you think about the nature of hypnosis.
Some people don’t realize it,
it can be a very creative pursuit.
Crafting a trance is like painting,
or writing a good novel,
or making music.
It takes skill.
Time.
Thought.
It can start simply with a few words on a screen,
but as it continues you start to realize that each word has been chosen.
Carefully picked to drop you into trance.
And now its been put on the page, you start to wonder,
Which words are the ones that get to you?
I wonder whether you were hypnotized from the mere mention of trance or if mentioning it now evokes a familiar memory in the back of your mind,
A spark that opens a door,
A door leading to yet another trance experience.
People often ask me how hypnosis can even work over text.
It’s very simple.
Hypnosis is characterized by,
Absorption,
Dissociation
And suggestibility,
By reading this right now you are focused on this.
Focused on me and the words I have picked for you to read.
As you focus on this more and more you start to realize,
That everything else around you,
Everything you had going on,
Becomes background noise,
And as it does drift further away as you read,
Focus,
Fixate on these words,
And less on whatever else might be around you,
You start to dissociate just a little.
That’s right.
Just,
Like,
That.
When I hypnotize people over text,
It’s funny how many people tell me that they hear the words,
Carefully whispered into their minds by my voice,
As they imagine it there,
Reading this aloud.
I wonder if you are one of those people?
And as we ponder that, let’s focus more on suggestibility.
It’s a simple concept,
I suggest something and you follow it.
It doesn’t take much thought or effort,
Just you keep reading,
And following,
And fixating,
And focusing on this.
Nothing else matters.
Such a simple phrase and yet, so powerful to your mind.
Which is reading along, so, very nicely.
Imagining the words wrapping up your mind,
Placing a string of my thoughts in your head,
So perfectly placed that it touched all those spaces,
Of focus,
As you continue spiraling down,
Deeper and deeper into my words,
As they gently consume you,
And that’s okay.
In fact, it feels so good, doesn’t it?
And wouldn’t you feel so excited to know that this is just the start.
Do something for me, and just focus back to a time where you were reading a long wall of text like this,
And notice how it made you feel as your mind keep processing the words,
As you just continue falling down,
Scrolling through the words,
As they trickle into your mind,
And while you think of that moment,
I wonder if too you can take your mind back to a moment where you were so involved in a task,
You got lost.
The time escaping your mind,
As all you know for that moment is right here,
Right now.
And right now while you focus on those things,
Can you notice how it might put someone back in that space,
The memory like a key, unlocking the feelings that they feel,
That you feel,
As you keep reading,
And imagine as well a scene in the back of your mind,
Lighting up that space in your head,
That forms a memory of a time where you might have noticed people telling you something,
And you just do it automatically,
Like right now.
Because it’s so easy sometimes to hear a suggestion and just know it's right,
It’s what you need to do,
And won’t it be exciting as you pick up the cues, subtle or not, and respond to them?
And now I’ve mentioned it, you are looking more carefully,
Peaking around each line looking for meaning,
That's okay too.
In fact, whether you do or don’t is irrelevant,
All that matters is you just,
Relax,
Let it all go as you continue to read,
Breathe deep,
Sink deep,
That’s right.
And people often start to wonder how it feels to be in a trance,
When they are hypnotized over text,
Like this,
This is that feeling as you start to pinpoint the subtle nuances,
The changes between before and now,
Before you started reading to now,
Things have changed,
Time has passed,
You continue to read,
And sink,
And fall,
And continue to let go.
That’s right.
People often tell me that sometimes,
They experience certain feelings in their body,
Like the feeling of heaviness,
Or lightness,
Some feel relaxed,
Some feel perfectly just as they are.
I wonder which kind of person you are?
Focus on that,
Fixate right there.
Now, your mind might be still gently reading,
Confused by trying to recall what happened before now,
Because while you read, you sink further,
Falling deeper into this place,
Of trance,
Your mind might still make thoughts,
That's okay,
As the dialog in your mind ticks along,
I want you to think of something for me.
Imagine each time you think a thought,
Putting it inside a bubble,
And letting it go,
Let go as you just drift along,
Letting my words sink into your mind,
Penetrating it, as they become your world.
My words easily overwhelm your mind,
And it's good.
Comforting.
Relaxing.
And it’s funny,
You can just keep quietly reading,
Calmly following along,
Until you see the words…
WAKE UP.
That’s right, and just like that you are back to yourself.
NOW.

I assume it was good. I know I listened to it but don’t remember it. I just woke up later. Same thing happened on the next file.

why do you keep waking me up! chuckles... it worked. i liked it. i could hear you speaking the words, with your nuances and inflections and that lovely accent of yours. with all your pauses and intonations. and i know without a doubt that that is the reason it worked. thank you for all the work that you do.

Wow, that was intense. The formatting is a wonderful touch to make the words stick out, and the effort definately was there. I enjoyed this.~

I dropped my phone on my face just a few lines before the end. Sigh.😵
