Where There's Smoke... Alternate Page (Patreon)

In an alternate version of the interaction outside the diner, instead of asking "Why are you running?" Jason instead says "Don't you want to say Thanks?" and then this page would happen. Eli and Jason were gonna get busy right outside the diner next to a dumpster. XD
Then on reflection it felt too discordant to have Eli have this emotional falling out with his dad and immediately turn on the horny brain, plus the second location was a nice expansion of our view of "Paradise City" before returning to Woodport.
What do you think? Would you have had Eli try to take his mind off his troubles with Jason sooner? or do you prefer the way the story ultimately went?
