Blackpink has been a slap in the face to the haters, particularly the toxic ones from Korea and China, where it's very conservative. As I predicted, Jennie, Rose' and Lisa are focusing their efforts outside of Korea - Jennie and Lisa in France, Rose' in the U.S. I kept trying to tell the ones who constantly complained about BP that they were going to drive them away, and it seems like they have. Only Jisoo - a born and raised Korean girl through and through - is still there. What I saw with Lisa's performance was joy at being able to perform for a crowd that loved her and wasn't going to criticize her because she wasn't meeting their "moral standards". Jennie also seems much more relaxed and open nowadays. I've been saying for a long time now that BP has outgrown K-pop and Korea - they love Korea and they'll always be grateful, but Korea is like a parent who raises their child, but eventually has to learn to let them go out into the world and be themselves. Most of the critics of BP are those who can't accept this.

Idols that start doing solo performances usually can be quite nervous, which is very understandable of course. Yeah, Lisa absolutely didn't show any nerves. She was enjoying it so much, you can argue she was born to be a soloist. Incredible performance this. 👏
