that coulld be cool if with her acting career Jisoo could drop sometime a solo album she's so magical . it's so insane to thing than at they're debut i never really see her like i see her now . it's simple it's the biggest switch i made with a groups at the beginning i had eyes only for jennie then i start to love all members equally at the end i have eyes only for Jisoo

- Just in case you are wondering what Jennie actually sings, it's: bichi naneun sollo (빛이 나는 솔로), which means something like "I'm shining solo". But I'm pretty sure those lyrics were selected so it sounds like "bitch" 😄 Fun fact is that Somi (also YG and friends with Jennie) reused that lyric in her XOXO song. - Jisoo looked incredible. Her outfit shined, and she was radiating as well. - "I don't need a boy, I need a man". Yeah, when the song came out they themselves were just young girls so it just felt like a fun thing to sing. Now, however, our girls have all grown up, and those lyrics hit totally different. - Lisa looked great in red. And I also love her hair like this (no bangs). - "look how much fun they are having!" That's really the standout thing for me. It's what makes these performances even better than the previous ones. - About performing in the rain. Yeah, that can really be double-edged sword. It can add dramatic effect and the girls seemed to enjoy it (while being cautious), but I'll never stop thinking about G-Friend having to perform in the rain where 1 member really fell hard 6 times!!

It seems a bit weird, but these girls are veteran performers now. They were always good, but, since this tour started, they've just looked so comfortable. They stopped worrying about whether their outfits or dances were too sexy, or whether they dropped an F bomb or two. Also, I didn't think it was possible, but Jisoo seems more relaxed since she doesn't have to hide dating anymore - it must be tough for celebrities to be constantly keeping secrets. To the rain, performers perform. I saw a clip of BP early in their career, where the power went out, and they just went acapella and the crowd joined in. At Woodstock it was constantly raining, and performers were getting shocks from all of the electrical equipment on stage, but they all went out there anyways. Don't worry about being accused of being biased, I treat Jisoo and her three back-up singers equally. ;)

Talking about the girls being "all grown up", you know when that really hit me? In the fan made doc about Lisa, there was a part where she returned to Thailand, and all of these young girls were saying that she was their role model, and she wondered if she was qualified to be that. Then, in the introduction for Baby Monster's Chiquita, she met two young girls for whom she was their role model, and one of the reasons they were where they are. It came full circle.

you're right they have more fun than before but the main thing is that they are released from YG. so they can be in couple , stretch out and do what they want without jeopardizing the image of the agency. the band will soon be disbanding so whether they make mistakes or be less "pro" will have no impact in the future. their future is full of promise and although many fans will be surprised that they leave in full glory. For me, I think that's a good thing. I am more and more convinced that the music is not really what they want to do. Jisoo has always been touted to be an actress and she will be a great actress. Lisa has lots of proposals and could do anything. jennie is obviously interested in fashion she could create her line of clothing or do modeling. I think only Rosé will have a real solo career as a singer, that's why she will probably end up at Blacklabel.

Why are you - and a lot of people - so convinced that they're disbanding? All of the things that you mentioned that they could do if they go solo they can do if they stay together - that's what new contracts are for. Plus, too many people are just convinced that, because they're currently so popular - as Blackpink - that that will assure them of being popular as a solo. The Backstreet Boys were as huge as BP, and this is what they said about breaking up "Even though Backstreet Boys' members occasionally ventured out on their own, they have all maintained their commitment to the group. For Nick Carter, that has involved solo musical endeavors, acting roles, and reality TV shows. "The things I do as an individual are different than what we do in the group," Carter told the Hamilton Spectator of his reasoning behind pursuing projects outside of the group. "When you're out by yourself, you can let that individual part in the group shine, to satiate your creative expression as an artist." As AJ McLean told CNN, what's kept them together is the realization that any success they might experience individually wouldn't have been possible without Backstreet Boys in the first place. "If I have a successful album, it only reflects on my success with the group, where I started and where I will always return to," he said." Big groups who don't break up see this happen - they don't have to break up to do their own thing. This idea that BP can't "be themselves" if they're with YG is just wrong. Look, I don't have any secret knowledge, but BP brings in 50-95% of YG's money, so they have to give BP anything they want in the new contract. BP could re-sign and still be able to do whatever they want individually, AND they wouldn't have to give up the success, popularity, and huge piles of money that they get as BP. It's like a lot of people just want to see BP break up.
