Hey guys, hope you enjoyed these reactions and are having a great day!

I want to go back to SKZ code next week seeing as we're 15 episodes in, and after we get caught up with SKZ Code we can check out another show of theirs, let me know if you're cool with!

I'm here to unapologetically push my Ateez agenda so would love it if you reacted to SKZ Code and Wanteez concurrently

Thank you again for a great reaction! Thanks for sharing what Thunderous means to you as well. It is not that long since I watched through all of your Youtube Stray Kids reactions, so it is still quite fresh in my mind how you talked about the heart operations and the complications. For me also Stray Kids has been a great comfort and distraction in my health stuff (nothing as serious as heart-related things, but a bit life altering still). Case 143 will always have a special place in my heart since it is the one that got me into Stray Kids. Other than that, Streetlight is really the song that had the most impact on me, that I can relate to the most, even though SKZ has a lot of songs that are relatable and that I love. I even got a Streetlight-inspired tattoo recently. I think a lot of the things I have said in this comment are things I already have mentioned something about in other comments, just felt fitting to say some of this stuff here also due to things you said in the reaction. As for going back to SKZ Code, that sounds great! If you are going to have a poll about the next SKZ content to react to, I would like to suggest Kids Rooms again :D I made a playlist on Youtube about those episodes. It is the order I would like to watch them the next time I watch them (the logic behind the order is explained in the playlist description). Not to say that you should do it in that order, and if you end up reacting to them, the next time I watch those episodes is in the order that you will watch them. I'll still link my playlist here if you want to make some use of it, it at least should include all the Kids Room-episodes (I'm sure there are other playlists also that include all of them in different order, I just wanted to make mine in this specific order) https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdh2RxbHnaY0ywLZbVi1-yyUcSE4Mcn_3

The cynic in me always say 'Yeah, of course idols love their fans, it's their source of fame and income.' However I got the impression of several idols that they rather be poor with a handful of fans than rich and unknown. First of all, the choice to become an idol is usually a rather bad one financially. Only very few really make the big bucks, some even never see any money at all from their activities. But most of them, if asked say something along the lines of 'In school I was on stage and I wanted that feeling back' (this is a quote from Dami). While some love the music (Siyeon, Rosé, 3racha) I think most do it for the give and take with the fans. You could say they are emotionally needy and attention seeking. On the other hand, 'making others happy' can be a strong driver for positive interactions. Even I, detached from the situation through several layers, felt really happy when I saw the happiness and excitement the Stays had in the café. I am most familiar with Dreamcatcher, but most fans will know the member in their group who lives for the stage. In the case of DC, it's obviously JiU. That girl cannot keep a big, fat grin of her face anytime she looks at the crowd. She was close to tears when they started touring again in June last year. Another point, which was especially clear in this video: Idols don't get a lot of praise in their usual day-to-day work. Harsher tones while correcting dance and vocals are quite normal. Even Soyeon 'bosses' her girls around in the recording studio and how much of a drill instruction j-hope becomes during dance practices, I don't need to tell you. A single, honest 'You're doing really well, I.N.' probably hit a very weak spot and hasn't been heard for quite some time. The impulse to feed this positive feedback loop with small gifts is quite understandable, I think. Especially for those members who value this attention more, than money or music.

Grow Up - the song they performed where fans interrupt to share their love - has been a foundational song in the fandom since it was released in 2018 on their debut album I Am NOT. This song in particular holds a close place for fans, because it is often the one the audience will sing to Stray Kids during fan films and other fan-led events during their concerts. It does have an M/V and was re-released as an OT8 version as well.

For the filming location of Thunderous, I'm pretty sure it's the same site as Daechwita - if I'm remembering correctly, it's a permanent set owned by MBC for history dramas and other filming needs (I think it is also considered a heritage site for tourists, but I could be mixing up locations). If memory serves, it's Yongin Dae Jang Geum Park. (But please correct me if I'm wrong).

It was fun watching this. I think you should definitely keep watching SKZ code. It is fun and eventually you'll be caught up where you can watch new releases.

Two of my fav SKZ shows are Two Kids Room (great content if you want to know more about their dynamics) and SKZ Talker (behind the scenes of shows, concerts etc.). I hope you'll check them out someday :D

SKZ is here to 'stay' on this Patreon, so I think that we'll eventually get to everything they have :)

I've been enjoying your SKZ code reactions, so another vote for that from me! :) If you haven't checked them out, I would recommend watching SKZ Family as that will also explain some insider jokes better. There's the original from 3 years ago and the more recent sequel to that for STAYs 3y anniversary. You might also enjoy Finding SKZ. The two recent seasons which I would recommend are God edition (4 part series around their God's Menu era) and Get edition (3 part series they did for Maxident). There's also an older season during I think their debut days, which is fun as well but I personally preferred the more recent ones.
