After they dealt with Moon Young's mother I really was like "okay, and now they live happily ever after". The whole "we can't be together" at this point was a bit farfetched for me tbh. Watching it now for the second time I still feel that way, but I do realize that every time Moon Young would look at Gang Tae and Sang Tae and sees the issues that were caused by her mother, she probably would feel responsible/guilty/sorry for it. So I can see the issues there. Vice versa for Gang Tae, but if he is willing to be with her, knowing she's the daughter of the murderer of his mother, wouldn't you at least try?

I think the lost a real opportunity in this episode to really help Sang-tae. Imagine his response if someone had just explained that the nurse was the butterfly. Talk about finding the door...

- Ah yes, the one where shit hits the fan. - Bitch, Gang-tae's mother died because of YOU, don't put this on your daughter - Did she kill her with a pen, John Wick style? - Alexa, play Sharp Objects by Sorn - YES SANG-TAE GET IN THERE - With Romeo and Juliet I just have to think of the ERB of them vs Bonnie and Clyde. „Woulda done that boy some good to just wait a couple seconds“ - This isn't your first rodeo with a Kdrama, by now you probably know that these things are precision engineered to rip your heart out. - „You can have it if you want it; Over my dead body!“ - Blind Channel, 2018 - Yeah, the stuff with her mum was resolved rather quickly, right? - 👍🏻 - Blackpink are always in your area. You cannot escape them. They WILL find you. - I guess Mun-yeong is not quite Ready For Love. - Gang-tae just wants to Stay. He can't Kill This Love just yet. - Now that we see Gyuri, I wanna tell you that fromis_9 have announced a comeback in March with their first studio album! Gyuri won't be on it as she's left the group but still, I'm very excited to finally have a full album from them! - When an elderly woman asks you to eat, YOU EAT. END OF DISCUSSION. - Look who's flipping the script now - Yes, this episode was one huge trope but they did it so well imo.

I think their talk after Gang Tae woke up was well done and necessary. Sure as a viewer it's frustrating that she pushed them away, but it was a reasonable decision. It added a lot to their characters. Gang Tae admitted it would be hard for him to overcome it (he would've just pretened to be okay again like he did all his life). Sang Tae fights for Moon Young and the 3 of them staying together after claiming Gang Tae for himself and not letting other people in their family. And Moon Young learned to lean on others and accept the love everyone is giving her and learned some people want her to be in their lifes. Its kind of like a conclusion for the 3 characters and I think it's beautiful.
