This is for all patrons, since it's not directly related to content. I thought I had done this before, but I at least couldn't find the poll. Might have forgotten to tag it.

What do you run Diminishment with?

I use a Mac - I just wish Apple would allow awesome videos like this on their Apple store :)

Interesting that us Linux users are almost as many as Apple users, though I guess that might change as more people answer the poll.

I didn't know this was available on Android. Count me in for multiplatform

It's not perfect though. The UI isn't really optimized for a phone at least, it can be challenging to do some of the selection on a small screen. The video loops also have a weird half second stop every time they restart, But that could be just my phone.

Never been able to run it on my Mac, but I’m happy with the video releases :)

I mostly play on Windows, but i think its cool on Andriod, though i wish it played smoother

Asked this before, but every time I download the zip files, my dictatorial Microsoft Windows 10 setup says that diminishment.exe has been removed as unsafe. I trust whatever you send, but can you help me bypass this issue? I'd even be willing to pay extra for some one-time bulk delivery.

Eskoz

You'll need to put the file as an exception to whatever protection software you're using. The exact steps will depend on the program, but a quick google should be of help.

don't know if it is intentional but after winning all mini games up to the butt section I encounter some animation oddities. After loosing the first mini game in that section you get sucked in, however if I loose again the next time i get the lines of text i would have gotten if I succeeded the first minigame in that part. I also got the animation of being sucked into her despite having been sucked in already. I don't know if this was already reported or fixed, but i wanted to mention it anyway.

android, but i would run it with windows if you do a VR version!

Since it's a bit buried in the version changes of the previous post: The current estimate for the initial Patreon release is before the end of the 18th, and public/final before the end of the 21st day of the month. I'm extremely confident with these estimates, barring any sickness or something like that.

make myself wanted to know: what's your computer's hardware config? just curious

The new render PC is, for the important parts: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX 32 Gt DDR4 3600 MHz CL16 32 (4 x 8 Gt) Corsair HX1000 PSU 2 x Asus ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11264 Mt GDDR6

Eskoz

This was a package PC on sale, usually I wouldn't have bothered with the thread ripper, but since I got it at the same cost as I would have if I built it myself with a cheaper processor, I decided to just go with it.

Patreon release (missing the portraits) should be in roughly 12 hours. Just started rendering the motion blur, which will take about 8 hours with 1 second per frame for the entire 28561 frames of material. After that I'll have to run it through premiere, which should take 1-2 hours, and then, transcode it in unity, which also should take roughly 1-2 hours. I'm still re-rendering a few frames to get rid of some minor glitches, that most probably won't really notice that much, but those fixes won't make it to this version yet, as they will be rendering for at least a day or two more. I also just noticed I accidentally used the wrong textures for Nina! She has Elena's texture. It's not extremely noticeable, since the lights affect the tinier people differently anyway. But in the playblast Nina had darker skin than Elena, and here she has lighter skin. Well I'll probably re-render the scene some day with the correct ones. They both also have Elena's older texture, which is missing a couple minor tuneups I did for it. But nothing massive. Fixing this would require redoing at least more than half of the renders , so don't expect it to happen soon. I'll probably re-render it slowly on the background while working on the next part, and then update it some day. Probably around the same time the part after this comes out.
