It's not the same super lightweight Aegis that we knew before, but it's good. Here we look at the Gen 2 Aegis, now much stronger but it's gained a bit of weight in the process. The features and colors are good: cryo-treated D2 steel, super fast, good handle and blade shape. The tanto version of the new Aegis AT-XR is tantalizing; check out that red version! The blade steel proved sharp and durable in my cardboard cutting testing.
