Sig MPX Copperhead Exposed: Full Review (Patreon)
Content
I will dig deep into why I don't like this submachine gun wannabe, the Copperhead. OK it's just a semi auto pistol but you know what I mean.
Sig apparently wanted "maximum concealability with few snag points" and had input from the "professional community" in its design. Uh, OK but these guys must have been idiots. Because what resulted is a heavy braced pistol that offers zero advantage over an AR9 pistol or other quality braced pistol option. There's lots wrong with the Copperhead.
Sure the Copperhead looks pretty cool and features a closed rotating bolt design but it's also over 5 lbs. Its looks alone will attract buyers and be prepared for them to defend their $1500 purchase in comments. It seems like another abstract, unvetted idea that seemed real cool on paper but grossly violates versatility, value, ergonomic, and SAWC principles.
Credit is given to other MPX models like the "K" that might be better.
But in the end several much better options in the same caliber are shown.
