Here is about 70% of what I had to prep and take for Op V.  All laid out on a driveway I'll do a quick flyby on the items so you can get a feel for the logistics...it's a lot!  I term any multi faceted, multi day trip in testing an "operation" and Valkyrie certainly qualified.

Here's just a smattering of these items:  comms, batts for comms, suppressors, muzzle devices, magazines for each system, binoculars, hearing protection x3, spotting scopes x 2 (which saved the op as you've seen), gloves x5, slings, boots x2, clothes x4, shooting rests x3, tripods x4, PelTor LiteComms x2, 2W handheld radios w/ batts, knee pads, ammunition x 10, huge target holder, huge targets, electrical/duct/clear/helicopter tapes, laser rangefinders x2, T1000 electronic hit detector + batts, FAK Level 1+ and Level 2, shooting glasses x3, music devices, Honda Generator, gas cans x2, water cans and bottles x 6, food x10, gun cases x 6, truck tent, sleeping mattress + inflator, sleeping bags x 2, pillows, bug juice, sunscreen, buckets, trash bags, cooking materials x 10, locking devices to prevent trailer theft, steel targets x5, multiple bins, stapler + extra staples, Olight flashlights x 4 w extra and charged up 18650 batts, many tools for vehicle and gun repair, and much more!

About 3 days of preparations precedes the loadout where all the items are gathered and double checked.  The "Two is One" principle has to be applied as all things fail out there and we are remote.  Going back to get somethings is out of the question, we make do with what I've brought.  Each shooting discipline will need different supplies, ammunition, specialized targets, shooting support materials, and optics.

Experience helps a lot and know what will be needed...be I still get surprised sometimes!  A standard outing to test guns will have a very similar loadout...just minus the camping gear.  It takes two days to clean, service, and re-store the items after every testing event.

Op Valk Loadout

I always try to get new insight of what I can do better for my own systems... luckily I’m not reviewing and don’t own many of the fancy electronics because batteries batteries batteries. Holy damn. I do try to have a backpack or bag set up for different activities to avoid the hassle of having to pack and repack everything. I usually am over packed but it saves me the hour or so of pulling all the things together. This video was way cool!!

Really enjoyed the load out video. Its quite a logistical challenge and great reminder to be prepared and have an understanding of what you need to accomplish goals while having fun.
