When $80 Equals $15,000: Parnis Fleiger Watches (Patreon)
Content
That $15,000 Swiss watch cost about $80 to make. For real. Add in truckloads of hype, middlemen each with their own markups, a rip off "luxury pricing" scheme, lots of advertising, payment to celebrities and you end up with $15K (or more) watch. https://parnis.org/pages/our-mission It is indefensible and yet there's plenty of watch reviewers, even here in YT, that defend this pricing and advocate you "just save up" for that special watch you have you your "eye on." Frequently they'll receive free product for this third party advertising that you consume.
Instead go with a Parnis that does amazing homages at astonishing high quality levels. Here we'll look at a favorite of mine: the classic Big Pilot Fleiger watches. Born in WW II wartime, used on both sides, these have the classic stretched kite hands with perfect legibility, onion crown, Type A and B dial markings, and timeless appearance. Include accurate, durable auto movements, exhibition casebacks, and even gold or TiNI coated rotors and mechanisms. All for $80.
Having been tested here for over 2 years, the Parnis Fleiger/Aviator watches are incredible. They're a fave of the Nutnfancy family as you will see here. Dress them up with better straps for more epic-ness (see below for eBay faves). Also you'll see some Nutnfancy watch programing here that takes these watches to the custom watch category.
No free product was given to TNP for this review, all were purchased by the Nutnfancy family.
Again TNP Patrons here's another free, non-charged video for ya'll. Oct was funded last week, thank you!
