So this some of you have already seen on the stream, but now were making a post too. :)

It turned out that simply updating the skinning wasn't enough to achieve the amount of quality we wanted around the spine/belly area for extreme angles. So now we're adding a driver to it as well. No need to be dramatic about it, so let's get straight to it.

Having updated the skinning and moving the belly into a 2nd skinning pass (as we did previously when we tried to improve the spine/belly area) was still the right choice though, since that made the authoring process tremendously much easier. So that time wasn't wasted.

With the skinning technique we use together with this new driver, we hope things will look better and poses will be easier to author.

All characters will support the spine/belly driver in 0.6.1.

This is awesome, nice work!

Any chance of a rotating spine node any time soon? It's really awkward trying to make poses with certain characters lying on their sides or otherwise turning to face their partner, since we can't directly control the shoulders or spinal rotation.

For those who didn't know, you can counter this weird behavior by slightly inflating the belly. Just in case you want to pose char like this before 6.1.
