Hi all!

Sorry for being quiet as of late!

I wanted to tell you guys that progress on clothing tools and mesh fading tech are progressing nicely. We're getting very close to a release.

In terms of the complexity of features and what they will enable, I think this will be the biggest release so far!

Picture in submission above is of a new night variant of our Sky Temple level which will be included in the next release.

will the mesh fading system work with custom meshes that are imported?

Thanks for the heads up. Im preparing to upload a THRONG of new characters to the cloud in secret, im interested to see how some of the new stuff will make characters prettier, the mesh blending is another good one, I wonder how it will work on moving parts like Tails? Will it work on those at all?

There will be several different techs for mesh blending. The one displayed in the tweet is normal transfer, which is atm only available for clothing. It wouldn't make much sense to have that for moving parts, because if the part is moved, it would no longer match with the computed normals. That is part of the reason why it is only available for garments. Another tech will however be available, and that's pixel offset. It will work with both parts and garments. More info on that will be posted soon.
