Man I'm so excited. And I think my album comes in tomorrow! I'm immediately claiming giant and Saiyan because they sound amazing already. Wait have you guys not listened to why? Holy cow! You guys are going to be so excited for that song. It's such a good song. That first Music video teaser ther had me so shook because the instrumental was crazy. I love it. I cannot wait to get it and it's entirety. The ting ting ting ting tings from the first MV teaser scratches my brain so nicely. I'm so shook. I completely forgot that you guys never heard the song why? before. I'm pretty sure that one is also another OST and it's amazing. It was out when you First reacted to those songs. In fact, all three versions were out. They did the original Japanese version and then they did the English version and then I did the Korean version and they dropped them all at the same time pretty much. I really hope Saiyan gets a music video. So far my favorite is of course giant. And I'm looking forward to that one the most also, because we're getting a music video with it. Also just they're Japanese releases always hit so hard.

i'm so excited for this comeback!! apat from giant i'm definitly looking forward most to saiyan, that small part immediatly hooked me in. but i know i'm gonna love all of these tracks :))

So excited for this!! WHY? is an OST as well I believe ... it dropped in April ... but I forgot about it with the Chk Chk Boom hype ... it cycles through my play list though ... so I was shocked it wasn't on another album lol

I feel like you haven't really had the chance yet to really explore SKZ Japan discography yet so this will be super fun. I always feel like the b side selection for Japanese tracks is slightly different. Definitely still SKZ sounding but there's a vibe I can't quite explain but really enjoy

Why? Was presented live at a SKZ Japanese fanmeeting already on April 6th and relseased on April 12th. It's and OST for a J-drama "Re:Revenge in the end of desire."

RE: the 8 eggs...... The very first thing that popped into my head when I saw them was that those were dragon eggs, since it's the Year of the Dragon??? Probably not, but that was the first thing I thought of. Oh, and the gemstones.....might they be the birthday gemstone for each member? Also......I didn't think they were saying "call me." I thought they were using the Japanese word "gomi" (which can mean a couple of different things) or another Japanese word that sounds phonetically similar. -------------------------------------------- EDIT: OK, so.....I just watched the official M/V for GIANT that dropped this morning, and it's not dragons inside those eggs. LOL The M/V is great, though! -------------------------------------------- Another EDIT: I was wrong - they ARE saying "Call me," not some variation of "gomi." I think im gonna like Saiyan so much but I’m most excited to listen to Christmas Love cause it’s basically just Bang Chan and Versachoi working together to make it and I love them as a duo. Nearly all my favourite skz has Versachoi arranging so I wanna hear it very badly.

I am so hyped for this comeback. I’ve been waiting for another Japanese release (more music period). They always pop off with whatever projected they do. I can’t wait to watch the mv and be amazed and yet super confused. About the lore. Many STAYs online are speculating how this ties into everything. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen these play on small to big (giant) or the lightning effects on our boys. To me i feel like this is somewhat of a continuation from Mountains to Giant. I could be wrong (probably am) but the way travel up and up and up the mountains of challenges. They gain strength and power. Now reaching the top they are the Giants of that mountain. Some STAYs point out that Seungmin’s hand reaching down into the clouds into the city scene could be tied to the large hands in these teasers. On another note A LOT of STAYs have noticed the many One Piece parallels to this comeback from the way the boys are sitting in their promo photos to the fact that this is a Japanese release to the fact that our boys are huge nerds and will try to incorporate their nerdiness into to their music. The eggs i am unsure about. Possibly another One Piece parallels or maybe the gems are like Skz infinity stones. Honestly I’m probably just rambling at this point. HOWEVER I’m so excited 😆💕

Why? (Which is the OST as others have said) sounds to me like some of their OG stuff. Maybe more from the I am- series and Cle series. I just hear what seem to be a lot of call-backs (in my unprofessional ears) to their early songs like District 9, Side Effects, YAYAYA - those types of songs, their rougher, edgy-er (?) music. I'm excited to hear what you both think about it!! Also! YES, are you guys going to be reacting to the Japanese albums in the order of release mixed with the Korean albums? Or are you guys saving those for a separate listen through. Personally, I'd listen to them in the midst of the Korean albums, since they are part of their music & vocal & sound evolution (if that makes sense?). Just curious though as to which order you'll listen to them in. :) I personally thing The Sound album is my favorite of favorites. The songs, the concepts, the MVs, the outfits - all from that album just seem to all meld together in my brain of who Skz are and what they embody the best out of all their albums. (And before anyone flips out... I'm not saying this is an accurate portrayal, just saying that's my opinion and viewpoint. :) ) Finally: I'm still waiting for them to do a whole, full Christmas album. I hope for one someday... we'll see. :)

I actually laughed at the Christmas song, it was NOT what I expected😀 There is so much to love, Giant's video is great and I hope we get more music videos.
