Another NMIXX LeeMujin Service episode is here, and this time, it's the queen Sullyoon! :D

Even with the high bar set by the previous two members, this episode surpassed all our expectations :)

How NMIXX keeps pushing the limit and showing us something unprecedented is a mystery to us all :') and this time, we were even going in thinking we'll have to be careful making assumptions. Gosh, this is so great.

I made a joke once with friends that Sullyoon is like a rolodex of vocal skills. Because she has such a good ear for mimicking the sound of other singers, she ends up with this insane toolbox of varying techniques. That way, when NMIXX plays with all the different sounds and genres within their repertoire, she seems to just find her reference from other singers and pull those specific styles and techniques into her performance (while still maintaining that signature Sullyoon bright power).

So… chronologically, you have Bae next, then the 100th episode which features Lily again, and then Jiwoo. Kyujin will likely be on the show at their next comeback, since they participate on LMS as part of their comeback promotions (the 100th episode being a little different - super highly recommend that one though). They didn’t go in a particular group role order either - they’re just going oldest (Lily) to youngest.

Sullyoon has my favorite voice in NMIXX. Once you finish the NMIXX members appearances on LeeMujin, you should also check out Twice Jihyo's appearance. She's incredible.

The more you listen to how Sullyoon sing, the more you will be captivated by her much deeper tonality she delivering. As much as I agree Lily/Haewon is the best duel, but imo, Lily & Sullyoon fits better for my taste. Especially when they both covering Dreams Girl, my jaw just went missing

Sullyoon on Begin Again with Lily should be your next reaction, if you want to hear more of what she can do. After that, Lily and Sullyoon were on Song Stealer. The segment where they try to steal Dream Girl from Onew is a highlight. One thing I really like about JYP is that they haven't forced Sullyoon to sing "pretty" all the time, like I think other companies would have done. Most people don't look pretty when they are really going for difficult notes, but female idols in girl groups are under a lot of pressure to look attractive and cute while singing. It limits what they can do. But JYP seems to allow their female idols to be real onstage, and puts the music first.
