And we're back with another Turbulence reaction! :D

Not just another listen, because we're coming from Not Too Late and that (more so than we thought) changed our perception of Turbulence and what it could mean - they really pair nicely and seem like a two part track that got divided into two different albums.

Would love to see another track that creates a trilogy of maturing and growing up, so we'll keep an eye out for that as we go through the albums :D

Ooo. This song is so ridiculously beautiful. This is definitely some of the best vocals that ive heard from them. (Altho to be fair i dont listen to them that often). But i am happy to see wooyoung and yeosang singing. I feel like from what ive seen i dont hear them sing that often. Or its completely possible i just dont know their voices. Awww hong joong opening was cute. Ooo, i love mingi's hair. That was beautiful. Han-C, hongjoong was actually walking thru the smoke. The stage was actually smokey. Oooh, i can see what you're saying Han-C. I really like that there was minimal dance for this. But the little dance that they had was nice.

Hongjoong's brother created the dance HJ did in the intro to the Mama performance. Bum Joong is a contemporary dancer and just as handsome as his younger brother.

their only one live performance of Be With You it was during the showcase for their album The World Ep 1 : Movement (atiny had to vote for a song they wanted to hear at the showcase and Be With You won). I would love to see them dance together again! I don't know if we will ever get that though because Hongjoong got too jealous about all the Atiny crushing on his brother lol

I don't know about you but there are some Ateez songs like Turbulance, Not too late, Be with you, Thank you and Utopia that really hit different when sang live... It's like every time Ateez performs one of these their voices get new color to them, they put so many emotion behind their voices, especially Seonghwa voice becomes soooo loud but tender and actually soft, it's like magic

The dance Hongjoong did in the beginning was choreographed by Hongjoong's brother, Bumjoong. Bumjoong is a contemporary dancer. They also have a video of Hongjoong and his brother doing the choreography together behind the scenes

Turbulence still has as much effect even after so much listening. I think it's because this song is really special to them too. They talk about it often and are always moved to sing it, particularly in concert. For my part, I really like Wooyoung's part and also Jongho and San singing together. Goosebumps every time!

So for the MAMA 2021 performance, there were still COVID restrictions in place, so there was no live audience. All of those lights were CG, and the audience cheering was canned. The groups that didn't pre-recorded, and were performing/accepting awards live, were all in poorly heated tents outside the venue, and only the next groups up were allowed into the hall.

I'm so excited for your reaction to Be With you, as so many have said it is a BEAUTIFUL song and will actually be my first dance at my wedding in 12 days <3 (yes I don't know how I convinced my non-Kpop-hubbie XD). I hope you really pay attention to the lyrics because they are very sad but also beautiful and sweet.

If I'm not mistaken, this was shot during COVID times, so those aren't actual members in the audience, they're digitally added, along with the crowd cheering. There were several types of performances like this during that time, where a digital audience was shown with "lighting" effects. Yes, they have LighTINY and they look amazing, but they aren't that consistent in look. Both performances are so, so good.
