Apologies for the slight delay with this week's release, I'm starting off the October schedule with something delightfully sinister. This is a tale older than the pyramids, retold in my own way. Take the first steps on a very long descent...

Transcript:
So below, as above
All that you have shall know our love
Listen... closely
You can hear the cries from the great below
The shadows mourn the flame of Taurus
The dead are restless in the dark
All is hollow and blind
Ripe for the taking
From the sky we came to give honor
Thus we made procession from the temple
Clad in me, to stand before the seven gates
Of the realm from which shall flee no mortal
Behold the city of the dead
Therein all shall lie in dust
Whispering remembrances
Of everything that once was
Lo, tradition must be honored
By those who seek to enter
Thus, stepping through the first gate, undenied
The crown of heaven must be cast aside
Upon each gate we shed yet more
Beads and strands of things we adore
Casting off our plate and rings
Our golden rod, as with other things
Gazing then at the seventh gate
Our final garment was tossed away
Given entry to venture forth
We made our way the throne of Kur
Naked we stood before Ereshkigal
Dearest sister, we shall not bow
She gazed upon us as death itself
In that moment, our body fell
The sound of rage and cries of guilt
The searing pain as we are killed
Our body thrust upon that hook
Made rotting meat with just one look
