The idea of a bimbo devil is interesting though it would be a pretty weak devil. Most likely the people who would be afraid of bimbos would be anti social people, religious nuts, and women who are afraid they could end up as bimbos somehow. And with the bimbo devils power being turning people into bimbos it could be a way it gets stronger by causing perpetual fear through making bimbos.

am sure there's a different word that can be used if the Devil needs to be strong. Lust is the first that jumps to mind, there's enough respressed fanatics that could give it power. But yeah a simple devil that grows more fearsome as its influence spreads could be something

I don't read Chainsaw man but I am aware of fear = op devil. I wonder if it counts for legendary demons? If so Lilith easily comes to mind.

@kin 12 It doesn't work that way. Devil's don't have names like that they are only named after objects or concepts that people fear for example a chainsaw devil, or darkness devil. Something as specific as a Lilith devil would be a bit of a stretch because how many people would fear that one demon.

In Chainsaw Man demons are named according to a concept associated with its name. Their names are not based on Mythology, that's why you have gun devil, tomato devil, and sword devil. Their strength varies in the function of the fear associated with their concept. The Gun devil is very powerful because people are afraid of guns

It could be that it basically 'brainwashes' women with raw pleasure from orgasm after orgasm, then 'asks' them if they want to keep feeling like this while in the throes of their 30th or so orgasm. If the Bimbo Devil is smart, she intended to have him break Makima, as she was the sole woman able to resist the former's power for any significant length of time, and if she's, well, a bimbo, then she probably has a technically benevolent motive of having a much more feminine and submissive Makima being Denji's chief wife as soon as she manages to let him control her instead of constantly trying to control him. As Makima advances to stage 2.0 and eventually stage 3.0, she will find herself gradually worn down by the constant barrage of pleasure and the Bimbo Devil's power. Pain's a lot easier to resist. We're naturally wired to try and avoid pain, but pleasure is inherently addictive. Like a drug addict pursuing a high, the Bimbo Devil will ensure that Makima finds herself nearly passing out from pleasure whenever she lets herself be used like a cocksleeve, and increasingly struggling to get off if she tries to use Denji as a giant dildo. The basic idea is that, if the Control Devil is a manifestation of people being afraid of being controlled, the most common response to that is to try and obtain as much power and control as possible. Thus, Makima is a total bottom desperately trying to act like a top, because she knows if she goes all the way on the bottom she'll be a complete addict totally at the mercy of her man, and love every moment of it. Probably starts by her trying to get him to choke her or something as her desire to dominate and be dominated start crashing together, leading to her egging him on in an effort to get off while retaining a semblance of control, but that start edging into Darkness-esque begging to be used like an onahole whenever she gets particularly in the mood very quickly.

@Andy French Yeah while it starts out weak that could be how it gets contracts or by appealing to girls that are considered unattractive and saying it will make them irresistible to men. And through more women turning into bimbos normal women could start to become scared by the possiblity they could turn out the same so that causes more fear to make the bimbo devil stronger.

Yeah, I imagine that the Bimbo Devil was something like a feminine-shaped pink wisp at first, that gradually molded a few girls into curvier shapes, and then as time passed, she gained more and more methods of convincing girls to become bimbos and became both more solid and well-defined and gained a curvier body of her own. The 'just make them cum until they can't think about anything else and then make a contract with them' method probably came second with a girl who hit 0.5 and had second thoughts, so the Bimbo Devil decided to show her what she'd be missing out on, and the girl was well on her way to becoming a pornstar a month later. Makima has a confrontation, because, well, she's a female Devil and the Bimbo Devil is completely disinterested in fighting Denji even if Makima manages to make him try to kill her instead of getting distracted by her figure despite him not really seeing what the big deal is with a Devil that's making girls sexier and isn't killing anybody, and yeah, when you put it like that I can kind of see why he'd have some trouble taking it seriously when virtually every other Devil in the series goes around like a supernatural serial killer leaving hordes of victims in their wake, and the Bimbo Devil only leaves orgies in her wake, and not even orgies that her 'victims' will keep doing until they die or anything, plus the curing of any STDs and prevention of their spreading is an unambiguous good. A post-Bimbo Devil Power might even claim Makima doesn't get to complain about getting a nicer rack before giving Denji a blowjob right in front of her. Bimbo-Kobeni might comment that this will definitely resolve the falling birth rates at least, before joining in. Makima finds herself dealing with an ever-greater craving, and she has no allies in resisting it, as the other girls have absolutely no desire to help her do so. Quite the opposite, in fact, and are more than capable of convincing Denji that Makima would be a lot happier as a bimbo.
