This first episode was painful

NL03

The first ep was a tough one, but I think they a great job at building up the story and making us hate the bullies, teacher, parents, and police. One thing that the show was praised about was the casting of the child actors and the adult actors (similar appearance/vibe). The actress who portrayed young YeonJin went through some stuff like having nightmares and PTSD playing that role but was praised a lot for her acting. Yeonjin's daughter was also in Attorney Woo, the child version of WooYoungWoo. Team Dong Eun all the way through.

It's a great show that's a huge emotional roller coaster.

The young cast actually looked like their older versions. A lot of people collaged their pictures and Im still mindblown. Looking forward to the next episode!

idk if you know but the bullying story is based on a real story of a high schooler

Irieezy.

This show is a wild ass ride. I was hesitant to start this show too from the first episode. But after finishing it it was amazing. Every little detail in this show is important. And yes, it's based off a true story. The school not caring about bullying isn't surprising to me lol in SK they care the most about hierarchy. So the more money/status you have the more you call the shots. It's so sad. Can't wait for episode 2!

Where are you watching this? The subtitles seem a bit wrong at points...

wOW......this pissed me off...also, knowing that this sort of bullying actuually goes on in S.K. baffles me. The reason why some of those teenagers are so bold is one of these reasons: •They are rich. •Their family has connections. •They know that they are protected by the law (This is probably the biggest reason. They are considered minors, so they won't be charged for it.) There was a case in S.K of some 13-15 year old kids that murdered an 18 year old boy in a hit-and-run (they stole a random car and drove it). The kids were caught and then let go, on the same day because they were still minors. Those kids then proceeded to go on social media and boast about how they were caught and then let go. Smh

I have a friend who lives in Korea and he tells me things like this happens all the time. Unfortunately Korea has a huge problem with bullies. That's also why so many KDrama shows have bullies in them. They are also pretty bad with the handicap population. Usually, if you have a handicap family member, the family will try to keep this person hidden from the public, for their own protection. They're not openly welcomed everywhere and considered an embarrassment to the family.
