dating in korea has a different meaning than dating in america

This is one the most conflicting cases for me (like the pied piper mr.fart but differently). Though I agree that every person, including Ms. Shin should be able to love and be loved by anyone they choose to, the case isn't really about whether their is love or not. Sexual assault is more of the consent and the question is whether Ms. Shin did give her consent and does she has the ability to say "stop" when she felt uncomfortable during the action. Even married couples can say "no" or "stop" and be sued with sexual assault if the partner disregard it... We saw Ms. Shin's dependence to her mother when things get difficult, proving that her intellectual age is really young (at 13yrs old). But it did break my heart when she cried so much when the guy got jail sentence.

At first, I wished this show had more wining cases and delivered traditional courtroom drama delight like episode 1. But now I like how it presents us cases that are conflicting, morally ambiguous, and sometimes just destined to fail. It's actually nice to see a courtroom drama not dealing with the likes of shady cover-ups, crime organizations, serial killings, or corporate corruptions tied to government officials (*cough* Vincenzo, Lawless Lawyer *cough*). Instead, it deals with everyday civil cases you can see in daily life (no wonder most of them are from real-life cases) but are compelling enough to give us something to think about. P.S. And yes, that was Eunji from "All of Us are Dead". At first I didn't recognize her because she seemed to have lost some weight. Good catch.

"I read a Korean comment saying that after the kiss and the lights turned off, you can't see who's the one with a disability and the one who doesn't, just two people loving each other, and it gave me chills because I realized how perfectly this scene was portrayed. It gave so much meaning. I was upset at first because I couldn't see their kiss clearly, but after reading that and rewatching the scene, I realized the message they were trying to portray"

I do think in this case, the mother was being overbearing… and those scratches after the HN was due to her worrying that the mom will find out.. cuz she seems to be very scared of her mom. Ah we can’t confirm this can we 😅 And I feel sad how the mother just decided the way she does things, without even trying to learn/accept that her daughter might have feelings, and capable of having those feelings. But with that being said, I guess the mom just dunno how to deal with such situation and I understand that she is just trying to be protective of her daughter. It’s a tough situation but I do wish a mom of an intellectual disable person would’ve been more understanding, and not take some drastic moves like this. What if the relationship is genuine and the guy just got on the sex offender list for no reason? Being on that list could scarred u for life, esp if you aren’t sexually assaulting the girl… which is unfair. I’m sure there’s a better way of handling this. But, oh well… thankfully the episode ended on good note for WYW 😌
