Hey everyone,

You can find the latest build at the usual link on itch (https://abdlsparrow.itch.io/the-pacifier-project-minor-releases/patreon-access ).

So I spent a good amount of time the last two days fine-tuning some values: 

- First on the food system, to correct some unintented behaviour and make it a less punishing. The main change is now the stomach value won't decrease when you're currently digesting something. This is really a big change, because on the previous iteration, once you fell down the slope and got to the hungry state, I found that it was nearly impossible to climb out of the starving state. Hopefully, you'll find yourself far less starved now. 

- Second, on the new camera values so it feel ...just good. I find it pretty annoying to get it "right" so I'm listening closely to any of your feedback , as usual. I also implemented a new setting panel so you can customize the camera behaviour to your liking, mainly on the inverted axis and the automatic recentering behind the character. 

With all of that said, here's the changelog :

World

Dialogs overhauled for all the remaining NPC. 

Added an ABDL tag to some NPC. It mean that they are receptive to ABDL, or are ABDL themselves.

Added three news areas:

- The park of the university

- The upper city is a whole new part of the city accessible through two backstreets.

- The lab which can be found on the upper city and who feature an unique minigame.

Story :

Continuation of the main story until the lab introduction.

Introduction of a new side quest that focus on low maturity player and AB themed.

GUI:

Added a camera panel to the setting menu. You can customize the invertion of X and Y axis, as well as the automatic recentering of the camera.

Player:

Stomach content diminish only when food is not currently digested.

Adjusted food system value so it's less punishing to the player. Don't forget to eat your meal !

Items:

Added a new item category : special items. Special items feature an unique skill that is either passive or active. 

Added one special item : the body tracker. It allow you to see stomach, bladder and bowel current value.

Technical:

Changed the camera behaviour to a more advanced system.

Corrected relative position of popup.

Added a lot more states to be saved.

Corrected a bug where the player is stuck indefinitely in an hold animation.

Know bugs and issues:

Boy pants texture can look bugged while messy/wet.

spawning into lab make the player sightly surelevated for a few seconds.

So this was a pretty intense update. I had to write about  ~10.000 lines of dialogs and create a lot of baseline things that I hope to make bloom on later updates ( ABDL NPC, Special items...). Of course, I'm staying all tuned for any major bug in the next few day, but otherwise I'll take a few day off after that to recover a bit and come back at full speed.

Can we use our old saves or should we start anew. When I came back to my house on my save it put me in a playroom instead of the main house.

great update, i found 2 soft locks if you try to skip tutorial your character gets stuck with the camera out of bounds. second one was in the haunted mansion when your finding the 2nd ghost once you find him the screen turns black and stays that way.

I couldn't reproduce the skip tutorial bug. You can try pressing it twice and see if it's better? For the second one, I got it, it was really stupid. The item from which the ghost spawn is called "Camera" and since I reworked the camera, I called it the same. So the game despawn the main camera instead of the item. I'll release a quick fix since it's pretty annoying.

Yes, you can use your old save. Maybe you saved close to the wall and the game put you back the closest it could to your old point. I'll try to reproduce the bug.

also is flushing the toliet when not needed meant to lower maturity?

Yes, it was intented. After all, a mature adult go to the toilet only when it's needed. Basicaly, you get a bonus if you go when you're supposed to (before it became to late and you have to hold it, and with a significant value). All other use of the toilet end up in a drop of maturity.

If by old saves you mean from the last update, you can just load it. If you mean from the old system, I advise against it. It lack a lot of variables.

so heres a few glitches found. -these kids do this afterimage thing sometimes. (screencapped) https://servimg.com/view/11115953/605 -the women in dresses in upper plaza who talk about the lab and on way to work. walk through all the cars in there paths. -lab doesnt reset when you beat it so inspite offing a round 2 after going in its not playable. also is the girl knocking on her door a npc for a quest?

I forgot to add some variables to reset the lab right after you finish, I'll add that. In the meantime closing and relaunching the game should do the trick.

also I noticed theres a lot more ladders now. will climbing them be a future thing.?

is there a possibility of there being a "let go" button to just pee/poo without waiting for the meter to be full in the future?

anyway we can get a checklist of some kind? im not sure what items are for this round and what items are future, for example i thought the cool device was hat guys watch. ive yet to find the sungasses.

I think i found a bug: After a while the protagonist lock herself in what i think looks like a bladder holding animations and walk at snail speed. I tried everything to fix it: - eating food - drink water - going to the toilet - save, quit the game to windows, then open and load the game. nothing works. The only way to stop this, is to start a new game, but this problem will show anyway after playing for a while. is it me, or is it a bug? How do i fix this? i don't want to start a new game every fifteen minutes of playing...

This is the state when your character is starving because her stomach is nearly empty. It's strange that you still encounter the locked in state because I though I fixed it in that build. When you said you eat and drink, how much did you eat? To not be bothered with it, you have to eat and drink something from time to time, like every two or three minutes. I think I'll rework this from scratch because it seem there's a lot of complain about it.

Thanks for your answer. I tried starting a new game and eating from time to time like you said and it seems to work fine but if i let the character starving, she lock herself in the starving animation and no matter what and how much i eat and drink, there is no way to solve this. I ate 10 hamburgers, 2 cupcakes and i drank 8 bottles of water. I also tried with different foods and beverages but nothing works.
