Real World Update 8/19/23 (Patreon)

Hello my wonderful patrons! I always strive to keep you all up to date on the goings on with my story progress, and on the rare occasions where something comes up, anything that might hinder story progress or availability in the near future. Today is one of those latter cases, unfortunately.

Well, maybe. We're still waiting on how this one's going to go.

A rare weather event is going to be swinging by my neck of the woods over the next couple days bringing with it, well, winds and a helluva lot of rain, because in a once-in-a-blue-moon occurrence, Southern California's going to be hit by an honest to god hurricane in the coming hours. Well, it'll be a tropical storm by the time it gets to me, but the point remains. While I'm not supposed to be in the main line of fire of what's going down, things can shift, and even then, the area I live doesn't exactly have the greatest power grid, so the chances of losing power, while not high, are not low, either. There's a chance I could be out of contact for a few days in the near future, and I wanted you all to be aware.

That being said, I'm well-stocked, not in an area that's likely to flood, and again, outside of the main line of fire, so odds are it'll be business as usual even in the coming days. But I drop off for a while, well, you'll know what happened.
