Rewatching with you, I’m realizing that this show does tread the line with horror more than I had remembered. The gradual world building is my favorite part of the show.

Another lovely episode. This is the first episode we see some very extreme emotions from the gem case in point garnet! We see her usually solve most things physically so we see her try the thing she is most noteable for violence, We even see her cry. I like that in the second episode the cool kids are acutally rather tame and rather nice. Its sad thinking that Steven never really got to talk or see his mom.

Garnet is such an amazing character, always love seeing different sides to her. As for Steven.. I really liked the aspect of seeing the traits his mother had being displayed through him too. Beautifully put together!
