Variety content compromise? (Patreon)

How about in order to get the shows that you all are interested in, more on silver tier, we do it by length?

Does that make the Silver tier better? Let me know what you think below.

 All have rotating guests normally would be on Gold tier.

What if we did shows like KStarNextDoor, Game Caterers, No Prepare, Suchwita etc, (generally under an hour) on the Silver tier alongside groups self-produced variety content like EN' O Clock, Going Seventeen, RUN BTS, etc.? 

(I know we're not currently watching all of that, this is for reference)

Then, the content that's longer whether it's from rotating groups or self produced, is on the Gold tier? Camp ZB1, Bon Voyage, etc. 60+ min content - some of these are as long as a kdrama/survival show themselves.

I want Silver to be the most popular/accessible tier. I would love to overload it with everything if that becomes possible someday. It just needs to be sustainable for me as well! Even now, I wanted to put the most requested content there, so it can be accessible for most.

I know dramas/survivals are becoming more niche outside of those who just want to watch content from their favorite artists. Dramas and survivals just so happen to be my most engaged content (from you guys).

*this is just being used for opinions to figure out if i'll make any changes, if i do, i'll update you guys, if i don't we'll just continue as normal*

Yeah that makes sense to me, I've never thought of variety shows being different based on whether they were hosted shows with idols as guests or their own variety shows so I think the length would be a good way to determine what's more valuable in terms of being on a higher cost here.

i’m on gold but i think that makes sense for silver based on the comments i was reading on the other post! plus this way it’ll be easier for other people to understand the content they’d be getting access to via the tiers (aka less confusion) because it’s based on length. but i also totally understand why the same host rotating guest shows would be / are on gold, esp considering those are pretty popular so people would (in theory) be more inclined to pay for access to those so you’d be getting paid for what you deem is worth the time/effort… this option though seems like a good compromise overall for both silver patrons and the patreon (because this also may boost the #s of silver patrons) but definitely do what you feel is right! if you want to keep it how it was intended to be originally, it is your patreon in the end and people will pay what they feel comfortable so pls don’t stress but i’m sure everyone appreciates you taking the time to discuss this through with them and including everyone in the process<3

bet bet jam, appreciate y'all for understanding! i want silver to be where everyone feels like they get majority of the content because at the end of the day i just want people here to talk about this stuff with. that's why on the new anime page there's basically one tier for anime and the other is for movies. just simpler and easy. for most they may be confused why there was division but as you said, it was like, hey, that's something i don't NEED to see, but maybe it would be nice to upgrade to watch along for the guest shows too. at the end of the day, the tiers are supposed to be more enticing, so it was just something to add to fluff up our gold tier, alongside getting everything overall.

i know you're tired of helping me when it comes to this lmao, we've talked so many times. what it comes down to is just me wanting as many people here to talk about these shows, videos and music with as possible. what price is that easier to do at and me being able to sustain myself once i move out at the end of all of it. i'd love to have all of this stuff at $5 besides dramas and stuff but i don't know if i'd ever reach the amount to be able to move out that way. thanks for dropping by with your opinion!
