Was eagerly looking forward to this coming out and man am I happy to see that they've done well. I hope all of you start to watch this!!

No you don't, I do actually want you to watch this first, before trying the anime. There's differences that I may point out as I did in this video, but if it's a more digestible experience to get more people to watch the anime I think it's great overall! I'm glad there's now something that lets people kind of enter the world of OP that's not something as overwhelming as the total episodes in the anime.

Gosh it was such a fun watch I couldn’t stop smiling. I love it so far! Definitely impressed but the production quality. I’m so happy they didn’t make it look cringy or anything like that.

39:59 this man is so unserious I love it 💀💀 Although I've only watched a few One Piece episodes I feel like they did a good job of capturing the vibe of the characters and it was pretty interesting so far! I'm excited to keep watching!

I have never seen One Piece before. I'm a little intimidated to start the anime now because of how long it is. So coming from an outsider's point of view I really liked the first episode, and I enjoyed watching it with you and seeing how happy it made you!! I look forward to watching the rest of this with you!

Yes, there's some details that I may accidentally spoil slightly while watching this series since this is going on my other page and anime youtube BUT I think the show also is spoiling stuff early on with this too LOL. Either way it makes for an easily enjoyable similar watching experience since it's not a direct adaptation. I hope this gets you guys to watch the show LOL!

istg my reaction to the whole episode was just like yours, i couldn't stop smiling😭 i'm so excited for the next episodes, i binged watched it today and all i can say is that this is PEAK, the pacing and changes really caught me off guard too but i still loved it, i hope it does reaaaally well so they can prepare to record more, i need to see chopper, franky and jinbei😭 and omg ROBIN, aaahh i'm so hyped

Can't wait to see the rest of the crew, they must do MORE seasons. I finished it as well, working on editing to throw the other eps up on the other page and schedule them here will be two eps per week! Can't wait to see what y'all thought of each of the episodes!

Okay I got to check this out and from someone who's never watched one piece this was really entertaining! I could definitely feel the moments where if I had watched the anime I would have a bigger reaction to some sort of Easter egg or hint but that aside they're still laying things out really nicely for me to understand what's going on and the characters are interesting too. I can tell there's going to be those episodes unraveling everyone's backstory and making you really invested in them. I'm generally a fan of fantastical worlds and the world building here seems really cool (like why in the hell would he eat that fruit?! I was so shook). For how famous this anime is it's kind of shocking to me that I really knew nothing about this, like I didn't even know what the one piece was I literally only knew that there's a character named Luffy so this is going to be a ride. I think I will decide by the end of season 1 what I want to do in terms of watching the anime.

As another who has never seen One Piece before I really enjoyed the first episode. and even tho I know nothing about any of the characters I can tell they did very well with the casting. it's all so natural and just great. love the world and style of filming, especially during the fighting scenes with zoro? (green hair guy) who I must say his character stands out a lot. I feel I will enjoy this whole season and who knows, this may finally be the push to get me to finally watch the original series after prolonging it for so long😁. koby had me laughing when he slid under that table during that bar fight. always fun watching along with you and seeing how happy it made you, on to the next ep
