I'm so so happy to see you're going through Gen V. I've seen mixed reactions from it on twitter and idk why. I admit, I had reservations going into it, but as soon as I started it I couldn't figure out why... It's by the same people as The Boys and in the same universe, so of course it's good. And like you both said, almost better as a 1st season because they have honed what they are doing through 3 seasons of The Boys already. anywho, I'm here with you for the full ride, including The Boys s4 when that comes up :)

A lot of people don't realize this universe is a satire deconstruction setting. Some people also probably think they're going to fall into the corruption trap and don't want to see it etc.
