Just gonna copy n paste this question from last upload Now that your are almost done with this season Have your views on “the basement reveal “ changed anyhow ? Do you see/understand now how the basement ties into this new season ? The Basement . Is know as a gateway cuz it is literally the end of an old story and the beginning of a new story . It almost feels like an entirely different series .

Can't take everything at face value with the show. It could be legit but it also reeks of pushing them away. Eren is going full heel turn but it's tough to tell what is fact or fiction or if it is a mix of both. I get how it's jarring and than scene is supposed to be but AoT does the slow reveal so it's a lot of watch and see.

i feel like the table scene is supposed to make the audience furious so idk why half of the comments are trying to like police and invalidate their response lol. like nearly the entire story is a bitter pill to swallow and it is full of sneak outs and misdirection. regularly throughout season 4 they also have talked about how much they like it. idk yall i've seen so many freaking reactions to this show and like 7 out of 10 of them are people 'consuming content' in full blown manic reactor mode... it's nice to hear criticism i haven't heard before, even if i disagree with it. at least all the haters on patreon are still paying them i guess lol.

the only thing i think they were silly about here is that levi and mikasa already had an extended conversation in season 3 about how they both had experiences where their ackermann powers awakened, and levi says kenny experienced that kind of moment too.

It wasn't exclusively protect the king tho I think that was the original intention I think ackerman's just find a host that they feel they have to very strongly protect, and yes genetic research was done, we know know exactly how but it was done and that's how ackermans exist they are eldians, modified eldians who's memory can't be wiped. Presumably human titans that's why they are strong , also interesting note on the fluid ,my theory is it prob it can't be exposed to regular air but not sure. Tbf if it would get more specific it would be overwhelming,considering next episode maybe it could be more but the show isn't a science show , additionally but the part of the flavor of the story is intentionally trying to keep the magic in the background both to be mysterious and for other reasons we don't know yet ,but because the its is primarily about humanhood. Unlike other fantasy stories yams is trying so the magic aspects to overwhelm that in any episode. To ensure the human philosophy stays at the forefront which is a very tricky and ambitious thing to do but I think he does it very well. Also the reveals are supposed to be thought provoking , that has been a common pattern in the show a lot of times you're supposed to think about some things implying other things to be lies although not always

I don't think I agree that we haven't seen different perspectives we had Falco who represents an innocent point of view in from Marley , Udo, Gabi ,Floch, then Jean , ,Armin ,Hange with more pacifistic POV with proposals of partial rumbling.Riener too not wanting to fight vs Eren. I really don't get how that conclusion comes " this world doesn't feel real to me " . Also while cof is a amazing episode it's def not top 3 rating wise I think nerdy just severely isnt able to appreciate the variations between heartbreaking ,theamatics , more drama does not mean best. Vs other shonen eps comparing ratings between eps of not just aot but other shonen impact orieinted eps to some heavier complex eps, shows this to be true.
