And so, this amazing journey has finally come to an end and a new beginning, at the same time! I've enjoyed this season of GAYS PLANET so fucking much, I'm really sad that it's already over. I won't spoil anything here in the description in case people haven't watched yet, but all in all I'm really happy with the line-up.

I'm excited for the debut of ZB1 and whatever is next for the trainees who didn't make it. I will impatiently keep an eye out of some of them, especially. 👀 If you want to skip ahead the intro where I talk about the current situation, then fast forward to the 7:30 mark. Prepare some snacks because you're stuck with me for the next 4 hours!

I'm going to watch this, and probably when I end I will leave a kinda long comment with what I think. I wanted to watch this live SO BAD but I had classes and couldn't😪😪.. I tried to at least watch the rankings announcement. I was tehnically watching it in my classroom lmao, and when the top 3 were about to be announced MY PHONE DIED. I WAS SO ANNOYED. my friend gave me her phone and I watched the live there, the teacher never found out:)

Phew, that were some emotionally taxing 24 hours, I'm glad at least this part is finally done. 😔 I actually watched the final live stream at work and then on my way home, my office is pretty soundproof, but I may have screamed at some of the later announcements while being fully in public... Though it was definitely worth it! I was sooo surprised (and happy!) that Gunwook and Ricky made it in the top 9, and the number 9 was also quite a shock in some ways. I would've preferred Phanbin as well (nothing against Yujin, but he's literally born in '07), but I can be still content with this lineup. Across two devices I actually swapped votes between Gunwook, Ricky and Phanbin, I know it's not the most intelligent way to go about it, but I had such a hard time to choose between them 😭 Looking into the future I have to say that I'm a bit worried about the WakeOne trainees. The WakeOnez were pretty much the most polished and debut-ready trainees out of the whole bunch, but it's kinda unlikely that the label will debut a new group anytime soon when they're also managing ZB1... I don't think that Seongmin and Woonggi have much of a future at that place anyway, but it could also take quite some time until they let the other ones out of the dungeon again as well. Let's hope that I'm wrong with that assessment and that they're going to be smart about all this talent they have on hand! Anyway, thank you Johan for going on this ride with us and sharing the love for these handsome and talented (and gay 🤭) individuals! 💙

well, I like the final lineup, it wasn't how my top9 was but still. I hope everyone that didn't make it debuts soon, all the guys that were in this episode are truly talented and have a lot of potential in the industry. The group name is cool, like it's weird but cool too. What I hope now is for them to have a good management,I hope the company doesn't fuck up their debut like it happened with kep1er. I'M SO GLAD FOR MY BOY, my main pick since the beginning HE GOT TOP 1. IN A KOREAN SHOW. I CAN'T WAIT FOR HIS SOLO. He is amazing! Also, Jelly Pop is literally the best song from this whole show IT'S TOO GOOD Just hoping the best for their career, so excited for their debut!! I'm sure they will be amazing

The ballad was so sweet to see! Also hello Matthew's vocal colour?? Jiwoong was so iconic for already forgetting the name of the group. Sorry for scaring you about Zhang Hao maybe not making it in the discord, I was so scared because I really wanted him to make it. Happy that I had nothing to worry about. Can't wait for Jebewon's debut!!

Im so happy with the final top9!! I wish Jay would have made it into top9 though.. :( Jelly pop is such a freaking good song and that is the kinda vibe I can see zb1 go for!! My friends were so lucky and was invited to the finale show. They sent me so many videos on snapchat ughh. I cant even imagine the feeling being there, in the same room as all the boys. Im honestly so sad that its over because ive been so invested in this show and I love everyone who participated. But at the same time, im excited for Zb1's future😍😍 I can already tell that they're gonna be one of my favorite boy groups.

I'm so upset that Jay and PHanbin barely missed the lineup but Gunwook has completely stolen my heart in JellyPop and Gyuvin being so emotional about debuting, they will definitely be my biases in ZB1!!

gunwook and gyuvin have really grown on me a lot too!!! i think their personalities won me over in the end -- gunwook being super mischevious but also just a big baby (johan is so right that he gives tbz-sunwoo but also a bit of that loona-hyeju energy), and then gyuvin is just an unintentionally hilarious person 😂 his reactions to member announcements were all over my timeline!

2023-05-26 06:35:50 First off, I just want to say, I'm watching this while I'm at work and I'm trying so hard not to laugh at the "Was Jay from the toilet?" I had to do hide in the bathroom (ironically) to laugh it out. It was a great way to break the sad feeling of seeing Jay not make it in and knowing that he was TENTH. It was a wild ride this whole season and while I'm super bummed that Jay didn't make it in, I'm fairly satisfied with the line up. Zhang Hao placing #1 over Hanbin was definitely the biggest plottwist of the season. I gasped when that happened live. I feel like Hanbin took the news better than Zhang Hao did, I don't think it hit Zhang Hao until he sat down on that seat. Also Hanbin seemed relieved when he sat down at the #2 seat. I feel like he's been under a lot of pressure this whole show because he was always at the top. I'm glad those 2 got to debut together in the end, regardless of their rankings. I feel like they've been each other's biggest supporters and someone to lean on. When they got to like 4th place and Yujin hadn't been called yet, I was genuinely worried that Zhang Hao may not make it since it always seems like in these survival shows, someone who you think is a shoe-in for the final line up ends up falling short in the finale. Thankfully it wasn't the case but it did happen with Keita so I'm bummed about that too. He would've been an amazing all-rounder for the group but at the same time, I wouldn't know who he'd replace in the top 9 since I like all the current members too. I feel like you can tell they didn't rig this line up (aside from their evil editing) since we have a global member rank #1 and the 3 global members ranked within the top 4. Also the fact that only 1 WakeOne trainee made it in to the final group since Wakeone is a subsidiary of CJ E&M who also owns MNet. So Taerae is basically going back in to the Wakeone practice rooms xD Anyways, I can't wait for their offical debut. Been feeling the Boys Planet drought the past month so that's why I've been watching reactors watching the show again. So thanks for your interesting input!
