MINI ANNOUNCEMENT: Charge Up Front now enabled (Patreon)

Hey guys. It's weird to give an update on my break, but I thought I'd let you know what's up right now. I just recently discovered that I was offered the charge upfront option for creators and I have decided to enable it. This change will not have any effect on existing patrons, and you will still have to pay at the beginning of the month like normal (though in this case, since I'm on break, there will be no charge next month). Though if you plan on increasing your pledge at any time to a higher reward tier, you will automatically be charged the difference based upon their current tier and the new tier(for instance increasing from $5 to $10 will result in a $5 charge, and $1 to $5 in a $4 charge) so please keep that in mind if you plan on doing so in the future. Decreases in pledges and cancellations will not result in any charge whatsoever.

The biggest change will be for new patrons, who will automatically be charged when they make their pledge based upon their specified tier. This actually means alot to me since I've constantly have had to deal with bots and fake pledges from people who don't have any intention of paying. That was actually one of the reasons why I've decided to take a break, since it sort of honestly takes it's toll to deal with theft literally every single day. Though hopefully when I get back to the groove that wouldn't be an issue anymore at least not to the extent it was before.

I have updated the introduction page accordingly to inform new patrons of this change and recommended courses of action. As for what I recommend going forward for existing patrons, a couple of things:

- If you plan on increasing your pledge then I recommend doing it early on in the month and not near the end, as you will be charged for the change and the beginning of next month in a short period of time. You can choose to do so anyway if you wish, but I just want to tell you that.

- If you plan on removing your pledge entirely with the intention to repledge in the future, then I would again recommend doing so at the beginning of the month and not at the end, due to the double charge and all that. Though if you decide to do so, then that's fine too.
