MMF Tribes Announcement ! (First Impressions) (Patreon)

First of all, we want to clarify that Patreon stays exactly the same way it is.
Nothing is gonna change for any of you, neither now nor in the future.
We aren't closing Patreon.

We're opening a Tribes page next week as an alternative.

We're only starting Tribes as a way to reach a bigger audience and for those who have issues with Patreon, either with the payment methods available, taxes ... or just the platform itself and that for whatever reason they decided not to support us here but they would like to do it through MyMiniFactory.

We also wanted to clarify that Tribes is in a Beta state, this means that right now, we can't assure you how good your user experience is going to be and ... our recommendation is ... not to switch, at least not for now.

If you give us a couple of months to check that everything works as intented we would appreciate it, we do not want anyone to have a worse experience than in Patreon or losing access to any of the features (like Discord) because of us rushing the launch of a new platform, Tribes is still in Beta after all.

We have been working with them to create a good alternative to Patreon and maybe in the future they have everything that Patreon has ... or even more, at least for some of you.

But right now there are still some bugs and missing features, we're also unsure of how well everything is gonna work, and since we already upload and update everything to MyMiniFactory on a daily basis ... you won't have faster access to the files or any improvement in that regard, no patron is gonna feel left behind.

We need to test that and lot of the other features and we won't know how good they are until we see how they work during October/November.

Not gonna lie, we believe that Tribes can surpass Patreon in the future (for 3D printing creators) but we aren't there yet, so obviously you're free to switch right now if you want to test it out but our recommendation is ... to wait.

Wait a few months, at least during this Autumn Season and then maybe in December or when Tribes launches and stops being in Beta, you can decide and maybe switch to Tribes.

Of course, we're here to answer any questions and we'll talk about Tribes improvements (and flaws) during these months.
We have created a specific channel to talk about this in Discord.

Right now we need to see how Tribes works and if it's truly better, for both us and all of you before we feel ok with telling any of you if you should switch.
