What up Patrons, I recently picked up two OEM DualShock 3's and much like the PS3 unboxing, I figured why not film a quick video on these! These were a personal purchase I've been eyeing for awhile as I needed new controllers for that PS3 I bought. Between these two, and the cosmic blue one I bought awhile ago - I'll be set for years to come.

Also, huge apologies but I totally lost the footage where it's a front view (the typical shot with me included) so I only have the top down angle on this one. Thankfully that one is more important, so this should still be okay. Hope you all enjoy, I'll probably keep doing these for any other personal pickups as a bonus for here.

Ah you know what! We should do that soon. I'll make a post in the next week or so asking for questions.

Just gotta search 'OEM DualShock 3" and you'll definitely find some. They're always priced from $80-130. Can't miss them!

Going back to a previous generation of controller always feels super weird to me. After I got the PS4, I couldn't use. SixAxis because it felt so cheap and light (before the glorious return of the rumble). Then, I got the Dual sense and now the DS4 feels terrible and cheap!

Gotta get me some more OEMs as well, didnt know they were up there in price. Anyone remember how much OEMs cost before PS4 was released? I’m guessing $49.99

Haha, that's definitely true - build quality sees a huge jump with each generation. I'm kind of a purist with these sorts of things, I like using the original controller for each machine. Luckily for DualShock 3/Sixaxis it pretty much covers PS1/PS2 since the controller shell was largely unchanged across all of those.
