If you haven't noticed. I made a funny little stretch goal for this campaign that said when we reach $50, I would go out and buy some new shoes. Now clearly, I didn't need your help buying new shoes. The truth is, I'm just brutally lazy. That, and shoes are one of the last things I'm really concerned about. I guess its just one of those things where I never notice anyone else's shoes, so maybe they aren't looking at mine?

Which is of course an absurd way to think considering people love shoes, and constantly look at each others footwear. I know this first hand now, because I get harassed a lot about these god forsaken things that used to pass for shoes. They've long been past that title at this point. You might have noticed that the logo on the back of the one shoe pictured above looks familiar. It's Young & Reckless. A clothing brand founded by Christopher Pfaff. He's better known as 'Drama' from Rob & Big, or Rob Drydek's Fantasy Factory.

Another question I'm constantly asked, especially from those who watch me on YouTube, is "why do you always wear Young & Reckless?". And there are the usual variant questions like, "do you work for them", "how many shirts do you have", "My ps3 has a problem, help me". Okay that last one is a bit out of place. But it does come up pretty often, trust me.

The short answer is yes, I kind of did work for them. I was never a paid employee for Young & Reckless, but I worked as a promoter for them. We were called 'Reckless Rangers', and I did it for about 2 years. This was back in 2009 when the brand started. I was already a fan of Drama from the show, so when following him on Twitter/MySpace I was there for the launch of it. So I bought a few shirts, became a fan, and it sort of progressed from there. This one guy who was also a fan hit me up on Facebook and got me into the Rangers.

As a Ranger, we would do social media promotion, and local stuff. They'd send you a bunch of stickers that you would take and go tag your area. Then you snap a pic and report it back to the website. It was a lot of fun actually. This one time I went to a banana republic and slapped a few stickers on the walls there. In hindsight it was a prick move to honest people working there who had to deal with my dumb shit but hey, sometimes you do dumb shit. In return Rangers would get exclusive gear, and 30% off the entire line.

30% off when you're also a fan means you buy a lot of it. So that explains why I have so much. I haven't counted in awhile, but from what I gather, I probably have around 70 shirts, 20 hoodies, 10 jackets, 20 hats, and a few other goodies. The funny thing is, I've been wearing Y&R for so long, that everyone knows me to wear it. It would be weird if I didn't wear it. So now I just kinda roll with it even though I don't promote for them anymore, or buy much anymore. That's especially true, the brand has blown up so much, they charge even more now. And with that discount gone, it's a harder pill to swallow on the wallet. It's a good thing I bought as much as I did!

Anyway, I'm babbling at this point. I love you Patreon people. Getting ready for the rewards and stuff soon once we cross over with payments and what not. That way I can finally buy some fucking shoes. Which will be filmed, along with the other vlogs I'll end up doing just for the hell of it. This Patreon is like an exclusive Ryan club. And boy oh boy, your name is on the list. Come on in.
